I popped the card into the slot in the Platinum Card Reader and the camera comes right up in reader on my Mac. It was easy to locate all the pictures on the card. The only thing is you have to manually drag the photos to your Mac ... but that's not that big a deal for me. This product was exactly what I was looking for. I recommend

This item is smoothe, and acts like it is original equipment for my desktop. I mounted it onto the top of my monitor with velcro and it acts like it was welded there. Very strong hold! Great product, great price! 5 out of 5 stars!

I do digital photography and have cameras and drones that use all three sizes of SD cards. The transfer of 100+ photos is very fast. Also, attaching it to my laptop and reviewing a photo shoot with a client is quick and easy regardless of which SD slot I need to use. It is much faster that older readers I have used.

We went on our honeymoon in the middle of May to Oregon and Washington and I took my camera with me. When I got back I realized I didn’t have a set up for my SD card and found this one! It has multiple options for multiple readings on different types of cards. I was able to plug it in to my PC and upload all my pictures without issues . I would highly recommend to anyone who uses a camera for photography and not just their phone!

The package was better than I expected. It came with a usb type c to usb type a adaptor, really cool thing that they didnt have to do because they could have just had the cable be type a to c but they have type c to c for the people that want that. Really impressed overall with it would recommend if you are in need of a sd card reader.
