This can be used to link my Mac Air to a traditional USB, It works great. The hardest part was figuring out that I was buying the right thing. The online best buy person helped me.

I really like this USA to USB C adapter. It is very small and I can just stick it on a USB A device and then directly into a USB C port. Despite its small size, it has good build quality and it doesn't feel like those small adapter that can easily break. The only reason I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it can be very sticky and hard to remove.

This is one of those little purchases that when you first see on the shelf you're like "what do I need that for?"....then you buy a MacBook Pro and there's your answer. Couldn't beat the price and it does the job well without the Apple logo.

I bought this as a back up for the many others I have from different brands (when I don't feel like connecting an entire dongle/hub into my macbooks). It works just fine with the transfers. Although it is slightly protruding than some of my others, it is slimmer on the sides and do not interfere with the other near port on my mac. For $10 it's a good deal.

This is one of those items that work great when its nice and straight in the port but if you have a heavy usb cable or hub hooked up to it, it kinda goes a little wonky. Disconnecting and reconnecting if the connected device gets moved a little. It works fine if its just a normal usb cable hooked up to it.

Perfect purchase to go along with my new Mac Book Pro. With my new laptop, I had no more USB drive so this little gadget allows me to plug into my laptop & then plug a USB into it and able to use with any USB drive I have.

I’ve been using it for a MacBook Air for 3 years and has worked with no problems.

When I bought my wife a new Samsung Laptop it did have USB A ports so I needed to find her a way to connect peripheral devices hence the Platinum™ - USB A to USB C Adapter, USB 3.0 Spec - Gray came in hand

Great quailty. Connects easily and no delays or interuptions when using. Used daily. Still works like the day I bought it.

The only downside to my MacBook Air is that it only has two USB A ports and none of my cables fit those ports (except the charger, of course). I use this on the end of a USB C 4-port hub so I can plug in all of my devices.

I bought this so I could plug a USB into my Mac and it works just fine. The fact that it’s small and close to the Mac I’m afraid if it gets hit just right it will break so I recommend keeping it safe and disconnected when not using it.

I've used the adapter several times now for multiple devices and it works well. It is also a fair price. My only suggestion may be adding some sort of chain as it is small and could get lost easily.

This little thing is handy... small size, performs like it should. Cant ask for too much more than that. Be aware that if you there will be stress on the connection, find a dongle that has a cable.

I use this to connect my Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e directly to my USB printer cable for my Epson Workforce Pro WF-4720 multifunction printer when I have to do a work around for Epson I-print...along with a great printer app...

I purchased a MacBook for my son to do online schooling. I found out later that this adapter is a must if you want to hook up standard devices that use a USB connection to a MacBook. A must have in my opinion!

I learned after buying a new laptop, that the USB ports have changed. Due to other devices that periodically need to be attached to the laptop, this was a life saver.

Love this. It's Saturday. Makes connecting so many things to my new MacBook Pro so easy. It's convenient being so small and can stay in the port without getting in the way when I move or carry the computer.

Purchased a new MacBook Air and needed an adapter so I could use my USB A drives so I purchased this one. Does as described. I have issues with Apple not providing one, but that is not this companies fault.

I use this often for work, holds plenty of docs/photos. No problem with connection into mac book.

You pretty much need this for the max books because they don’t have built in usb plug ins. Definitely worth the money for something you need and it doesn’t cover the second plug in on the laptop.
