You pretty much need this for the max books because they don’t have built in usb plug ins. Definitely worth the money for something you need and it doesn’t cover the second plug in on the laptop.

Terrific adapter. Use it in my new car to accommodate the Apple charger.

Works with variety of USB-A devices on my Mac Book Pro (Monterey), including a card reader. Worked with Windows virtual machine on Mac as well.

Very much needed as newer laptops have only 1 usb port nowdays. They should come with at minimum 2 usb ports. A program I use requires that I have 2 security usb dongles plugged in so this adapter is definitely good.

Dongles and adapters can get annoying and in the way while using newer macbooks that only support usbc. This is a great alternative from having to use them.

This adapter works great with my CD driver. I purchased a Macbook a few months ago and had photos on a disc that I needed to download. The adapter worked wonderfully with my driver. Thanks, Apple!

New MacBooks come only with 2 or 4 USB-C ports. This is a quick and inexpensive way to adapt one of the ports to the legacy USB-3 compatiblility, while still allowing the other for charging or USB-C connectivity.

Worked as described to transfer photos, etc from old old samsung to a new phone. I needed the adapter because the old phone didn't support any other transfer method.

I bought this to use with my Android phone. I tested functionality by plugging mouse/keyboard dongle into the USB A side. The mouse and keyboard functions worked fine on my phone.

I have a Windows Surface Go, and I wanted to connect my keyboard and mouse to it, but the unifying receiver does not connect to USB - C, so I purchased this USB - A to USB - C adapter, and it works beautifully!
