I recently became a photographer and this thing is amazing. Its quick, easy to use and easy to pack away in a bag to take with. I can easily put it in my ipad then right into my pc and have no issues what so ever.

Easy to use. Has slots for both micro and full size cards. Very easy to import pictures from my camera into the phone since I could never get the pairing software to work. Faster than a normal USB port. Very well built too.

Product feels very premium especially for the price. It was easy to use, just plug in and all of your photos and videos from your micro sd card is now one your laptop.

I use devices like this to connect external media (audio, video) to my phone (via the charging port) without having to have the files loaded directly to my device. I've also used it to transfer files (in a pinch) between devices. It should work fine on tablets with a USB-C connector. Just a heads-up: Using USB-on-the-go (USB-OTG) does require power from the device itself, so leaving a device like this plugged in will drain batteries. It is possible to use specialty cables to provide power while such a device is connected, if this is an issue.

My new computer doesn't have any SD slots on it. I have several devices that use either SD or microSD cards, so this reader was essential. It's small size makes it convenient to take on the road.

This little sd card reader has worked perfectly. It allowed me to transfer my dashcam footage to my gaming PC.

Just bought a new computer, and the show selling it showed a SD slot on it, but when I got it, no SD slot. Doing some photography I needed that SD slot, as cameras use them. Well, my computer does have USB C, which this SD card reader uses. And talk about fast. My new computer is very fast, and I expected this reader to be a bit slower, but no, you drag and drop and pow, done. I was transferring 18 GB of files, was going to plug the computer in so the power wouldn't be interrupted. By the time I was done it was too. With an SD card! If you have USB C but no SD reader this is the reader you need.

Always had a challenge getting pics out of my cameras (D610) SD card in time. Usually it sits in the camera and a few weeks later I'll remember to copy the pics to my laptop and share them. This makes it so easy to connect the sd card to my android phone, view the images/videos and share them before I even leave the venue. Great value from that perspective. My mom no longer calls my camera the great black hole of pictures. :-D

The new iPad Pro needs a way to read SD cards and short of buying a hub, this is the next best thing. Works great for getting GoPro footage into the iPad to edit. Great little dongle.

Worked for my iPad Pro. I heard some readers doesn't work but this one did. My camera stores images and videos onto SD card. It's small enough to my pocket and I'm happy to use it.

I use this often. I am able to take my photos from inspections onto the sd card, insert here and upload directly to my laptop.

The Platinum USB-C to SD and microSD Card Reader has worked very well for its intended purpose of transferring data. It easily connects to my Windows and USB-C devices . I find it not only dependable but the card reader also works at a high speed to get the job done quickly. A small blue LED light comes on when the card is reading and transferring data. An extra plus!

This was a breeze to use! I was able to get pictures off old SD cards & into my digital storage for ease of viewing. Great product!
