Brilliant product & very well made! If you have a new MacBook Pro, this is the cable for it. I just picked up a new 16” MacBook Pro, and bought 2 cables for it at an Apple Store, but they’re expensive and semi-cheep in construction quality (I’m returning them tomorrow), but these come with woven cables and seem like first quality products! These are the way to go in my humble opinion…

Exactly what I needed. Was abckevto connect my old Mac monitor to my new Mac Pro 14 seamlessly.

This cable adapter is required if you want to connect the traditional USB 3.0 connector cable to the new MacBooks. I would have liked if one of these would have been included with the new M1 MacBook Pro's. Maybe Best Buy could work on a bundle deal for those who still use the "not so old school", USB 3.0 plug and play type connections. I guess this was just Apple's way of revolutionizing the entire concept of USB connectivity and just diminish the USB 3.0 completely due to the improvement in connection speed with USB type C / Thunderbolt.

Nice short pigtail to back your phone up to a USB flash drive. allows you to back it up to a flash drive of any USB configuration. Use this with the memory adapter for mini memory cards from phones or the larger memory cards. That way you can copy the back ups to computers later.

Super easy to use. Was able to plug a regular USB plug into the adapter and then plug the adapter into my Macbook and the device was picked up instantly. There was no issues with my computer reading the device or any shorts in the adapter wire itself. I definitely recommend getting this if you have a new Macbook that only has type C ports.

i only use this for my 2021 macbook pro m1. it's mainly to use a USB ethernet dongle. an adapter for an adapter haha. i don't like to use wifi. i transfer large files between different network devices so it's better for me to be plugged in. look for open box for a better price. works as expected. #DongleLife

It’s perfect for what it’s designed to do. I bought a couple of these.

I purchased this USB to USB-C cord because my newer MacBook doesn’t have the option for a USB plug in. I often have to plug my insulin pump into my computer to transfer readings to my doctor and this cord definitely does it’s job! It works just as well as Apple brand too, I’ve had both and they’re identical except this one is better priced!

Annoyed at apples money grab for devices such as the dvd writer drive. So we had to get an adapter for the drive to go to the macbook. This adapter worked perfectly tho. Setup was easy and have no problems with it. Would recommend.

I purchased this for my iPad Pro. It works just as I hoped it would... I'm able to connect devices via USB to my iPad now! I use my iPad for writing and recording music. Most interfaces require USB-A. This works great for connections to keyboards and guitar. I'm really glad to have it.

I am using this item as an USB OTG or adapter to hook a Tablet to a DAC. Newer versions of Android and later model DACs can be connected without need for any software drivers. I can stream Tidal w/ MQA and Qobuz hi-res music to my stereo equipment easily assuming the Tablet has enough memory to handle the larger data compared to MP3 which has less.

Got a MacBook and it only has USB C ports. Well, I’ve got years worth of USB A gizmos - flash drives, portable HDs, etc. This dongle allows me to connect all my old USB A stuff to my Mac. Just plug it in and it works. Seems well made. Get one, or two.

This item is much nicer than the Apple version (that cost twice as much at time of purchase). The cable is wrapped in tough braided sleeve that prevents it from stressing the connections.

I needed an extra USB-C to USB adapter for my MacBook Pro and went in with the intention of getting a Apple product. The salesperson suggested this one and I have to say it works great for my needs. Sometimes off-brand adapters don't work or last as long, but so far, so good.

The quality of the material is excellent. The connection is never interrupted and the adapter sits nice and tight.

This is a perfect, inexpensive solution to the problem of high-bitrate devices that come with a USB-A connector but need to connect to a USB-C port on a modern device. It doesn't restrict USB 3.x bitrates, so it's a great solution. And it's cheap!

This is an excellent connector that I use for the Anker USB-C recharger since it allows the user to charge both a USB/C device like the iPad Pro 11 or an iPhone with a lightening cable. I highly recommend this “dongle” since it allows a USB-C charger to do double duty.

I have had this for a few years now and still works great. I have nothing negative to say about this product.

I just purchased this to go with my new Macbook Pro 13". The Macbook is equipped with USB-C ports, and I have auxilliary equipment (sd card readers, extra monitor, etc) that require a USB port. This small cable converts the USB-C port to USB. And the price very reasonable at $9.99 with fast delivery.
