    Bought this for my son’s Mac. He needed to format a drive for a usb. I bought a different brand and it did not work. This recognized the drives immediately and was able to format instantly.

    With this adapter it allowed me to use my external hard drive on my new chrome book with all my files on it, because the chrome book used a c usb, thank goodness Best Buy carried it
