We got the Nex Playground recently and love it! The games are super fun and get everyone moving — perfect for family time or even solo workouts. Setup was easy, and the motion tracking works really well. Highly recommend if you want something active and entertaining at home!

Cool system, cool games, but this sytem is not for kids under 10. Unless you want to be frustrated, your kids screaming and crying and you wondering why the heck you spent $200 to feel like this DONT BUY FOR KIDS UNDER 10. Even the games that are supposed to be easy for kids are by far the hardest for them to try and understand! Really upset, but oh well, i have until June to return it.

The Nex Playground is an amazing interactive system for kids and families. It’s super easy to set up, and the motion games keep everyone active and entertained. I love that it encourages movement instead of just sitting with a controller. The games are fun, colorful, and great for all ages. Definitely a great addition for family game nights!

I cannot say enough good things about the Nex Playground — this little cube has completely transformed how our family spends quality time together! Setup was a breeze. Literally took us about 5 minutes from unboxing to playing our first game. Just plug it into the TV via HDMI, connect to Wi-Fi, and you're off and running. The compact 3x3x3 inch cube is sleek and unobtrusive; it fits perfectly on our entertainment center without taking up valuable space. The motion tracking is absolutely mind-blowing. I was skeptical that a controller-free system could actually work well, but this AI-powered camera blew me away. It tracks our movements flawlessly — no wristbands, no handheld controllers, no hassle. The kids can jump, duck, punch, and dance, and the system picks up every single motion. It tracks up to 18 points on your body, and I honestly can't find any noticeable lag or missed inputs. Our kids absolutely LOVE it. Ages 6 and 9 in our house, and they're obsessed. The bundled games like Fruit Ninja got them hooked immediately, but when we subscribed to the Play Pass and they discovered the Bluey games? Forget about it — instant favorites! The licensed content (TMNT, How to Train Your Dragon) keeps them coming back for more. Screen time I can actually feel GOOD about. This is the big one for me as a parent. Instead of them sitting on the couch zombified, they're jumping, moving, and genuinely exercising while gaming. They break a sweat! We now have "family Nex nights" and even my husband and I join in for multiplayer sessions with up to 4 players. It's hilarious and heart-pumping. Privacy matters, and Nex gets it. I was initially hesitant about having a camera in my living room, but I love that it doesn't store any video footage and includes a magnetic privacy cover. Peace of mind is priceless. No ads. No in-app purchases. Just pure, uninterrupted fun. In today's age of games constantly trying to nickel-and-dime kids, this is SO refreshing. Bottom Line: The Nex Playground is worth every single penny. It's innovative, family-friendly, promotes active play, and is genuinely FUN for all ages. It's no wonder this thing has been flying off shelves and outselling major consoles! If you're looking for something that brings your family together and gets everyone moving, stop reading reviews and just buy it. You won't regret it! Best purchase we've made all year.

This is a great item! Basically plug and play! My 8 yr old loves it! Even had older teens and adults trying it out! It’s really fun and good for all ages! Will definitely keep you off the couch and active! There’s a subscription to access more games but you can pay for the year. Hopefully they will add more games to it.

The Nex Playground is a fantastic idea. Turning any space into an interactive playground has so much potential. It comes with a set of games however, you will need to subscribe to download more games. My kids were initially thrilled with the concept, and it did provide some fun and active moments. One thing I love about this is that I feel less guilty about my kids playing games. However, there are some significant issues that impacted our experience: Tracking Challenges: The tracking isn't very accurate. It often misses movements or misinterprets them, leading to frustration for my kids. Height Restrictions: The Nex Playground seems to struggle with recognizing and responding to smaller children. My kids (5 and 3) had a particularly hard time getting it to work consistently for certain games. Background Interference: The system frequently locked onto people who were simply sitting and watching in the background. This disrupted the gameplay and made it difficult for my kids to stay engaged. Limited amount of games and no ability to purchase individual games: They provide 6 games out of the box but does not allow you to purchase any games. You will need to subscribe to the Play Pass in order to play other games. Overall, the Nex Playground has great potential, but it needs some refinement. Improved tracking, better height recognition, and the ability to filter out background interference would make a huge difference. I hope to see these issues addressed in future updates.

Our kids are 9 and 10 years old, and they absolutely love this. Their favorite games are baseball and basketball, and this keeps them moving and engaged instead of just sitting on a screen. It’s a fun, active way for them to play, and they ask to use it every single day. We ended up buying the membership to unlock all the games, and it was totally worth it. There’s plenty of variety, so it doesn’t get old, and it’s by far the most played with Christmas gift we bought this year. If you have active kids who love sports, this is a great buy

Is is hands down the best purchase i have made for family night in a long time. While board game nights are fun this take it to a whole different level. The games are fun for all ages. Can be used for family game night, kids play together or solo and can even be just for adults to enjoy. They have sports, trivia, adventure, learning and all kinds of games. I was stand offish because it was on TikTok but since having it someone is always using it. Its easy to move light weight only has two wires and a small remote. Can move from TV to TV room to room. The game subscription is a little pricey but turns out it is worth it with all the fun you have. If you break it down for the price of board games, card games or other device games it is cheaper to lock in the subscription. overall this is 5-star and a must buy over and over.

Really, I'd give it 4.5 stars. My two biggest complaints are 1. every now and then the camera has trouble reading correctly and 2. it's another subscription model IF you want full access to all games (and who doesn't). We decided to buy this for my 6 year old for Christmas. Turns out, even my 17 year old computer gamer enjoys many of these active games. And if you are looking for a workout, even the preschool games will get your heart rate up. It really is fun for all ages. I'm 43 and caught myself playing without my kids yesterday. :) I would most definitely buy again. I do wish the controller had a main off and off button though.
