Amazing console. Don't know about about ps5 but this console itself is a pretty good piece and also for the current price point.

I am an engineer, so I only want to read minimal directions. Other than the short user controls, I was able to get this up and working quickly. It has been 10 years or so since I have played much on a video game, but it seems like this will fill my needs. I wish it had more of the old arcade like game options. Still looking for good suggestions until I find it!

I switched from Xbox and it was an easy transition. Didn’t take much to get used to. Functions and navigation are great and easy to use for new users.

my son more so then me is practically on this 24/7 with zero complaints. downloading games, streaming, graphics are all awesome and make the gaming experience more enjoyable

At 199 is a good buy but it’s only 1080p. 1TB should be plenty space

Have owned Playstations in the past. This one is no different. Perfect for my usage, plenty of storage, easy to navigate. Highly recommend.

He was able to get a couple games he has never had and plays with friends he able to with his xbox. And no more fighting over devices with his sister!

This was purchased as a gift for my niece. I'm an Xbox guy but she is extremely happy with it. And I'm the cool uncle!

PS4 is a great console for both casual and serious gamers. Of course, PS4 has a lot of games for everyone under the sun. The console provides great graphics and great play.

I have bounced back and forth between the xbox consoles and PS consoles, the PS3 was and still is one of the greatest but the PS4 is a grower not a shower.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. Great product, does everything we expected, not a single problem. Very easy setup on Christmas Day. Highly recommend.

I was able to acquire this on Black Friday, Best Buy was the only store I could find for the right price. It's smaller, quieter and much more portable than the PS4 Pro.

Well, of course the kids love it!. It's a good console and it also offers a DVD player (that's what I like) The graphics for games are really good. I wish it came with 2 controllers though... they are not cheap! I also wish there were more game options for players that arent allowed to "kill" people. But for now, the family is enjoying what we've got :)

I recently purchased a PS4 slim fr my son. I have the original PS4 already and it has not giving me any issues. I like the fact that the controllers have built in batteries, although some would argue that the external battery for xbox lasts longer, however this is not an additional charge. To me the interfact with the ps4 is a lot smoother than the xbox. Graphics are good, and the feel of the controller is better. All in all this was a good purchase, just make sure u purchase an additional external memory as 1tb runs fast. You need at least 4tb depending on the amount of games you play.

My grandson needed a new system because his previous was costing additional funds to have it repaired. His request was a new system for Christmas so this was his gift.

It was a gift for my daughter and she loves it. It's a wonderful console. I would recommend it. She says it's easy to set up, easy to use and doesn't take much space.

Bought to upgrade from PS3 console. Everyone is happy since we can play the older games on the 3 and the newer games on the 4. Has plenty of storage on the 1TB console.

Great system and affordable. 1 tb. Theres alot of games to choose from online. My kid loves this system. Theres alot more to do such as watch movies or get apps.

The PlayStation 4 is a great console. Although there really isn't a big winner between the PS4 and Xbox one, it all depends on what games are exclusive to each. I always lean towards PlayStation because of owning all former consoles and games. It is disappointing though, that it is not compatible with any of the other older games as previous generations.
