A nice little upgrade that you will notice on some games more then others. Hogwarts legacy and silent hill 2 you'll definitely notice with the ray tracing which is nice. Some games arent that noticeable graphic wise but FPS definitely goes up. Still little annoyed didnt come with a stand. Is it worth the price. . . . . . You be the judge.

The PlayStation 5 is an impressive leap forward in gaming, delivering an experience that feels both cutting-edge and immersive. One of its standout strengths is the lifelike visuals—games look incredibly detailed, with rich environments, smooth animations, and lighting effects that make worlds feel truly alive. Whether exploring vast landscapes or diving into fast-paced action, the graphics consistently enhance immersion. The PS5’s game library is another major highlight. The system strikes a great balance between platformers and adventure games, offering something for every type of player. From creative, playful platforming experiences to expansive, story-driven adventures, the variety keeps gameplay fresh and engaging. Beyond performance and games, the console itself is a statement piece. Its sleek, futuristic design sets it apart from previous generations and looks right at home in a modern setup. Overall, the PlayStation 5 combines powerful visuals, a diverse and exciting game lineup, and a bold design, making it a standout console that truly feels like the future of gaming.

The ps5 pro is the best console money can buy currently. It is a great experience playing on this with my g4 oled. Compared to the launch ps5 or slim the visuals are somewhat better and the higher fps is always nice. Only reason this got 4 stars is for $750 retail does not come with a disc drive or the stand. For the price a little ridiculous it does not. However would still recommend buying this console if you have a nice oled or at minimum a tv with hdmi 2.1 support and 120hz for max fps.

The most powerful PS5 there is. I notice the difference with the speed and graphics with this than my previous PS5. The storage is also very appreciated. Very well performing machine. Love it. Worth the extra money.only thing I added was a disc drive so I can still play my game collection.

I did a lot of research between the Xbox series x and the PlayStation five Pro and in the end I ultimately chose the PS5 pro and I’m glad I did so the overall picture quality definitely looks better and the amount of space that you get for storage is also better with the ps5 pro the gaming experience is awesome and the online subscription if you buy it, you get all kinds of cool extra features like demos two games that you can play as a tryout trial monthly free games they offer to you to download just so many cool options that come along with the PlayStation five Pro highly recommend this system you will not be disappointed!

The PS5 Pro lives up to the hype. It is not just a slightly faster version of the original — it is a beast. The performance jump is noticeable right out the gate, especially if you are playing demanding titles in 4K. Frame rates are smoother, load times are almost instant, and games look cleaner and more detailed than ever before.

It is really impressive in games that have uncapped frame rates and even improves the resolution in games that don't. On top of that, native ps5 pro ports are even more impressive with Spiderman 2 running at 40fps with VRR and fidelity ps5 pro mode. It is a little expensive and probably should have included a disc drive which is why I give it a 4 out of 5 but it is still good all around. It also transferred all the games from my m.2 drive in under an hour for twelve hundred gigabytes of data.

If you already own a PS5, I wouldn't bother paying FULL price for this device. If you don't own a PS5 right now, just buy this. You'll get a superior machine with a larger storage capacity right out of the box! I would also highly recommend getting the disk drive (unless you know without a shadow of a doubt that you're an all-digital gamer). I would recommend this console ONLY if you don't already own a PS5 (non-pro version) and are OK with the prospect of maybe forking over extra $$$ for a disk drive down the line. Performance is as expected, and you can find a million reviews breaking that stuff down on YT, so I won't bother going into it here. It's fast, it's snappy, and works well every time. Also, the fact that the "PRO" version of the console DOES NOT include a vertical stand and still includes the **standard** controller is not OK (at least throw in the PlayStation EDGE Pro Controller for the price that is being charged)! Recommendations: Sony NEEDS to upgrade the joysticks in their controllers to hall-effect joysticks so that controller-drift becomes a thing of the past. As a consumer, I'd wait for a sale/bundle deal (see if you can get the console and a disk-drive for a reduced price, or the PlayStation EDGE controller).

The PS5 Pro is by far the best gaming console I have ever owned. The speed is unbelievable—games load in seconds, and the 4K performance with high frame rates makes everything look stunning. The new controller feels amazing in the hands and adds so much to the gameplay experience. What I love most is how quiet the system runs even during long sessions. This console is worth every penny, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Highly recommended!

Enhanced graphics, frame rate, storage, and connectivity. What more could you ask for? Sony knocked it out of the park with this one. Paired with an Edge controller, this console is the best gaming experience Sony has ever produced.

Absolutely love the PS5 Pro. I have a huge library of games and they all have improved graphics and speed. The ray tracing is notably, the most eye-catching edition to past and present games. Since there are so many amazing games and upcoming games to play. I've decided to just buy PlayStation Pro models of going forward. Highly recommend especially with the new slew of games coming out this year and next year they all are going to be optimized for the PS five Pro! Can't wait!

This is my second console. I owned the very first batch of ps5 disk. I can see and feel a difference in the pro. Games that I played daily seem to run faster and the fps is much higher.

Currently new to the gaming network, and I truly believe PS5 was the way to go. I was using an Xbox1 which wasn’t bad overall, but did take a while to load the games I wanted to play. I went ahead and chose the PS5 to be able to play GTA Online with my other friends who also have a PS. I think it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Great quality, graphics, and over all a very solid and quick startup. No waiting time when I start it up, it’s over all very quick, easy and fun.

This is a great upgrade if you have a TV that can actually use the upgrades this console features. This is my second pro (first had hardware failure after 1 year and 3 months, outside of warranty). I purchased this one with geek squad protection which i highly recommend. The imminent release of PSSR 2.0 is going to make this console upgrade even better!

Got this as an upgrade in prep for some upcoming games I really want to play a console. People say the upgrade isn’t worth the $ but I can honestly say I’m noticing some true crisp differences. Also the pro is smooth, runs quiet and has a lot of display accessibility options that I’m liking. No complaints! In store pickup was quick and easy!

I game on PC and PS5 and let me tell you the PS5 Pro doesnt dissapoint! It pushes all those games that struggle with fram rate, to a smooth 60fps through and through. To add to the upgrade, it uses AI tech called PSSR to give you a pixel count equal to or even better than 4k. PC will always have the upper hand but to get the same quality im getting with the Pro, i would need to spend $1600+ on a PC equivalent. Nice mid cycle for those new and for those who have upgraded their TVs and Monitors recently.

Honestly after playing my bfs PS5 I decided to finally upgrade myself to the PS5 Pro after holding on to my PS3/PS4 and it does not disappoint. The graphics and load times are definitely better to me, but the regular PS5 is still fine as well. My tv only supports the 1440p/60 fsp/hrz so I can only imagine what the 120 fsp looks like. I think the price is reasonable for the Pro (lowkey not after taxes though because it adds like $50 unless you live in a tax free state). I remember paying like $500 back in the day for the first PS3 so for $200 more dollars to get what the Pro gives, I don’t feel too bad. I do however understand why not having a disc drive or stand included is irritating for the customer, but again for me it is still worth it. Overall, If you have the extra money, I say get the Pro. If you really don’t care that much or have a regular tv that can’t support the high features of the Pro, then stick with the regular. I play games like COD, The Last of Us and Tekken for reference.
