Love the new PS5 Pro. It is really good and noticeable with the Pro enhanced games and on a 4K screen. Partnered with the Best Buy financing for no interest for 24 months you can get it at around $30 per month. I added the disc drive to mine which I like the ability for the system to be upgraded with that. Plus you can add more storage if needed too like the older versions

Improve fps with minor enhancement in graphics, with load times nearly as fast as the PS5 standard. However, the differences might not be significant enough to justify the increase in cost, especially if it lacks features like a disc drive or a stand.

I haven’t been to Best Buy in quite some time but man was I pleased! I forgot how awesome it is being in there with all the cool tech. I really enjoyed my experience and the staff I interacted with were also friendly and efficient with what I needed. Happy to share my experience! As for the product itself, it has been performing exactly as it should! It’s been fun playing on a console after I’ve been so used to PC gaming these last 5+ years. The product is wonderful and the controller is super cool too. I may need to buy more controllers based on if some friends that I see want to play multi player games. Overall, the product has been lovely. Happy with my decision!

i had to play resident evil 4 remake with 60fps and ray tracing and the pro doesnt disappoint get any ps5 and gaming pc and an oled monitor and you are set lots of 60fps locked or closer to 60 like alan wake 2 sometimes its just better to play on a console as perfect as steam is of course

Excellent I ain't a all day gamer like aI used to be I jumped from PC to console coz I have time on only weekends only to play. PS5 pro extra silent never disappoints. Very good hardware no noise or heating , games run on 60fps which ran 30 fps on normal PS5. Love the console I play on 4k OLED gives me most out of this console. But it if u don't already own PS5 don't upgrade from PS5.

I had the regular ps5 and I was overthinking if I should get the pro and if you have the money it is 100% worth it almost every comes with features for it, now you can play at 4k at 60fps and if you have a monitor or tv that supports 120fps then some games run that high pretty stable, I play shooting games like Warzone and in my old ps5 it would reach 120 but drops a lot of times while on the pro it’s pretty stable, and the pro would probably be the only console that would run GTA 6 at 60 fps and probably some future games with great graphics and high fps

It's important to know the game well. In my case, I had a bad experience buying this console. I didn't know about the digital disc version. I bought this console and bought five games on disc. Unfortunately, no one in the service department told me about the disc-based console and the digital console. Logically, you can buy games online with the digital console, but it doesn't have a disc drive. In order to use the discs I bought, I had to acquire an adapter or disc drive that comes with the console.

I am so glad I decided to upgrade from the standard ps5. Theres nothing wrong with it and they look very similar but Ive noticed improved load times, better textures, and better frame rates. The PRO REALLY shines when I play Gran Turismo 7. The kids got the standard ps5 in their room now, so, it was just a win win situation. Its worth it if youre a true game fanatic. You just CANT lose with playstation. Not to mention...THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES DROPPING THE PRICE...while "others" charge $80 for 6 year old titles lile Cyberpunk. Playstation remains number one for me since 96' baby!!! (But Im an 80's baby as well... so, no console wars in MY house. Got Breadbox too. Lol.)

Well, I’m officially a PlayStation guy now. After hearing people say the PS5 Pro isn’t much different from the original or the slim, I had to see for myself. Luckily, my partner’s brother has a PS5 Pro, and after playing on both it’s clear there’s a huge difference. The gaming experience on the Pro is just next level—smoother gameplay, faster GPU, and a future-proof build. If you want a higher frame rate and extra storage, the Pro is definitely worth the $300 extra. If that doesn’t matter to you, go with the slim. I’ve always been an Xbox guy and still think it’s a great console, but PlayStation wins for me with its exclusive games, innovative controller, and immersive single-player experiences. I’m glad I made the switch! The setup was way easier and faster than Xbox, and the UI is just smoother overall. I still have my Series S, but honestly, I haven’t missed it at all. PlayStation just feels like the better choice now.

The most advanced gaming console available. It comes stock with 2TB storage and a super fast processor. I upgraded with a Samsung Pro 980 2TB. The graphics and refresh rate leave you speechless. It should be on everyone’s Christmas list.

No better gaming console. From the performance of the system itself to the quality of games that are played. All are enjoyable. I always purchase my electronics from Best Buy. They stand by their products and I’ve never had an issue returning replacing or exchanging.

These are expensive but I wanted a second one so my launch version could go in the living room. It does do better and holds higher fps in some games along with ray tracing, etc. Worth it to me. Also added some AliExpress anniversary plates.

Amazing if you have a proper display.

I have an oled tv with a 120hz refresh rate and i have to say, going from base ps5 on a 4k 60hz monitor to this is a very noticeable leap however i can not recommend the pro if you dont have a display that can let the console flex. The 2 terabytes of storage are also great and while the pro enhanced versions of games can at times be a little off, id say overall the experiences have been sharper and smoother than ever. First party games like spider man, last of us or god of war look exceptional but even some games with unofficial support whether they be ps4 or ps5 games all just seem to run a bit better and even more so if the game has vrr options. If the rumor of the ps6 being delayed ends up true then i think that makes the ps5 pro a bit more enticing for anyone who wants to play games on console with the highest fidelity possible and i imagine this will be even more true when gta6 comes out. After one year id say i enjoy the ps5 pro more than i did the ps4 pro back when it released. I only wish it came with a pro controller instead of the basic stock duelsense.

The pro really adds another layer of polish to the already solid foundation to PS5 graphics and establishes the new benchmark for peak console performance. The storage bump to 2 tb is also quite nice. Not an essential purchase for those already owning a PS5 but a definite nice to have if you can swing it

First doesn’t seem much like an upgrade but after playing it and picking back the O.G. PS5 the difference is very noticeable, way better frame rate and graphic fidelity! The definive way to play!! Added a 2TB for a total of 4TB now I can download all my favorite games with no concerns about gavin space left on my hard drive!

This has been a great purchase for me. I love the fact I can play PS5 games at a higher and smoother frame rates the 2TB of storage built is great. I got a third party stand for it so, the Pro will lay flat nicely.

First Impression — “Yeah… this is NOT a regular PS5” The PS5 Pro is basically Sony saying: “what if your PS5 stopped struggling and just started flexing?” You’re getting: Sharper visuals (AI upscaling / PSSR) Better ray tracing (real reflections, not fake shiny floors) Higher and more stable FPS (60–120Hz gameplay) PlayStation Translation: games look cleaner, run smoother, and feel more “next-gen” than the already next-gen PS5.
