I received a digital code but when I try to redeem it in Steam, I got the following error message: “ Sorry, but this product is not available for purchase in this country. Your product key has not been redeemed.” This happened even though my account’s country is United States and I was redeeming it from the United States. I contacted Best Buy support who told me to contact PlayStation since the publisher is the one that provides the code to Best Buy. I then contacted PlayStation who told me the following responses (the second response was after I asked if there was any information I could provide to Best Buy in my request) “ Thank you so much for waiting, let me explain that based on the information you provided from your end our best recommendation is to contact the retailer where you purchase the code since it's out of region you can also request a refund or a replacement.” “ Let me explain that since the voucher it's for PC we are unable to check the code to provide you a better assistance and solutions, our best recommendation is to contact Best Buy support so they can help you with the code.”

I purchased the digital code through Best Buy and when trying to redeem on Steam, an error pops up saying that the code is not valid in my country and I'm unable to redeem. I live in the United States and attempted to redeem on my Steam account that's also a US account. I had my wife and my sister who lives in a different state try to redeem the code and they were also given the same error code when trying to redeem. Going back and forth for over 2 weeks with Best Buy Support and they're unwilling to help as they say that I'm trying to redeem it in a different country, which isn't the case.

I, like many others, am experiencing an issue with the provided Steam code for this game. It states that the code is not redeemable “in this country,” even though I am in the U.S. and the game’s store page states it is only redeemable in the U.S. I have reached out to both PlayStation and Steam support, and they both said this is Best Buy’s issue to fix. Best Buy support has been extremely unhelpful, and also refused to provide a refund. Hopefully they can get this issue fixed soon, but definitely AVOID this product for now.

I purchased this product on September 26th. It has been over a week and I still have not been able to use the product I paid for as the code is not valid. I have read the FAQs for Insomniac (the developer) and they do not issue refunds or new codes for this issue. I also contacted Sony and they have been of no help. Lastly, even Best Buy can’t help because this is a digital downlod and their policy states that digital downloads are not eligible for refunds. I spoke with Ryu (Best Buy customer service rep) and he told me that Best Buy and the developer are in contact to fix this issue (do with that information what you will). He also informed me a few days ago that the manufacturer even turned off reviews for this product. However, I am able to leave one now…

Good game, some issues with the PC port and doesn't feel necessary to play if you have already played the first game.
