Great little negative scanner, with a few caveats

My negatives come out 7, 000 pixels by 10,000 pixels. That's big enough for a poster. The reason I took a star off is because the silver fest application, while robust with a lot of great features, is constantly crashing, freezing, or just losing access to the printer. I have to restart it all the time.

Very good scanner for archiving.

Just have a little issue with the software - it requires the disc to be in the computer in order run. A bit of a pain.

Definitely a solid and well built unit, scans are pretty high quality and SilverFast is a vast program with many options to explore
