Bought this and it worked great to start for me to move items from mac to pc or for moving files from my phone. The housing for the memory breaks and now moves. I'm concerned for the longevity of thos product.

    Works, but housing broke

Device works, but the housing it comes in fell apart and I cannot get the actual component back into it. It's not shielded from the elements or my oily hands so I'm not sure how long this will last. I would push the unit into my laptop and the whole pcb would move with it. The USB c side, would "shrink" back into the middle swivel. Almost like a turtle head. I tried forcing the USB c side to stay only for it to actually push out and I cannot get it back in. Whatever glue or the little plastic piece shown, one of them was defunct. I'll continue to use but won't order a pny product again.

USB drive is small, fast, and premium with nice metal construction. However the construction does not lead to longer term daily use. The PCB will come loose and make it hard to insert or remove the drive. The spin mechanism that allows you to quickly use either USB-A or USB-C will stop clicking and have resistance to spinning will just spin faster than a fidget spinner.

Nice little thumb drive, however, the one thing to note is that it doesn't come with a keychain loop. So if attaching to a keychain you may need to purchase it or already have one on the keyset.

This thing is small and stores a lot of data! Works very well with my HP all-in-one desktop. I like the ability to have two different port options in case I need an alternative port with a device I am working with.

Inexpensive good quality Thumb Drive. Speeds aren't crazy fast and although it seems well built I would only use this as a temporary mini portable storage drive. Small and compact with both USB A and USB C. Versatile and worth the money.

Needed a sizable flash drive that had a decent rated speed and more importantly, was equally compatible with a Windows laptop and a Macbook. This little drive fit the bill nicely. Not necessarily a negative, but this thing is really tiny and seems like it could get easily lost. That could easily be solved by using the keyhole to attach to a key ring, or other handy key fob.

This flash drive works great. I needed to scan some documents at the library and they do not have scan to email so I needed a flash drive. Thank God this one has both the older version usb and the type C. The scanner I was using only accepts the older version and my laptop uses the type C. I do wish it came with some type of cover so that it would feel more protected when I'm carrying it around.

    Solid, Functional...Fidgetable?

Thumb-drives/pocket-drives (never could makexmy mind up what to call them) have been almost literary a dime-a-dozen for years now, to the point that most of us have a drawer-full of the things, and usually just run out and buy one when either (a) we need one Right Now, and don't happen to be near that drawerful of 'em, or (b) we need one with more storage capacity. I didn't exactly need one, but when I saw this, and the price, it was a no-brainer. And yes, all-metal and shiny...aren't we all suckers for this? But the bottom line is function, and this little drive doesn't fail here, which should be expected, since PNY's been doing this long enough to have that part down cold. Build quality seems as close to bombproof as I've seen. And...once you have it in your hands, flicking between USB-A and USB-C, you discover...this thing almost doubles as a fidget spinner. Maybe you should buy a few to keep handy just for that. And when you urgently need to back up that InDesign render you just touched up. Recommended

I like how small this drive is and how I can just clip.it to the side of my purse. I also like how it has both USB type c and type A ends. My only complaint is there's no cap so I worry that with time the ends may get full of dust and dirt.
