This thing is great, I needed something that I could use with my phone as well as plug into my computer! It comes with a rotating Port plug, one side is USB type A and then you can turn it around for a USB type C. I needed this to download the OS for my PS4 from my samsung galaxy, and then was able to install the OS from the stick downloaded from the phone to the new storage drive in my PS4. This thing did the trick! Great little guy. Plus its made of stainless, this thing will last for ever as long as it doesn't break down inside,

This is a really slick flash drive. You can use the USB A end on old tech and the USB C end on the new tech to transfer files from one to the other. Plus it can fit on your keyring so you don't lose it.

It's all metal which makes it look nice and it works good too. I've used it to help make more space on my phone by transferring over some files into the flash drive. I've been able to leave it connected while using my phone to save files directly to it. The price made it an even better flash drive.

this item was a great buy, it's already come in handy fro transfering files from my phone to a photo copier. used in my car for music through usb input, my only complaint is that it feels cheep. or poor quality, when I got it the usb a part was sliding out of its case, but I pushed it back in and tried it. I was pleasently supprised with the speed

This little drive is actually quite fast even though it's not 3.2 Jen it still moves a lot of data very fast it's aluminum so when you're moving a lot at high speed it's definitely going to get warm and or hot so be careful about that other than that it's a good thing it's made with aluminum if it was plastic may have melted works on phones anything with USB-C connection but also a regular USB-A connection

Nice drive, super-fast file transfer rates. Very versatile, I like the ability to go from standard usb to usb c on the same thumb drive. The drive seems very well put together and is made out of metal not plastic, it seems very rugged.

Very good flashdrive. I enjoy having both kinds of port compatibility. My problem is it feels like regardless of which direction i have it theres always a side that is exposed that can sustain damage. If there was a cover or sleeve to put it in that would be great, but otherwise great product.

Versatility meets Futility

Purchased this drive yesterday as I figured it never hurts to have faster and convenient USB storage. Got it on sale for $19.99.
Let me preface my review by stating that I'm using this on a 2023 MacBook Pro with TB4 ports and M2 Pro Apple Silicon. This system will not see the max speed stated of this drive because it is not USB 3.2. (I understood this going in, and knew that I may not hit their max advertised speed!). I have no problem with that. The drive advertises up to 200MB/s reads, My benchmark actually came in at 232. Not bad.
Connected to MacBook Pro with USB-C port of drive. I like the versatility factor of having USB A and C and thought this would be very beneficial for that purpose alone, but I am sorely disappointed by the horrendous write performance of this drive.
This drive came formatted FAT32. I ran benchmarks on this drive under FAT32 and ExFAT. They performed equally bad.
(See photo). The problem with this drive is the write performance in the RND 4K QD64 and QD1 metrics. ABYSMAL.
But in my first real world test, I grabbed a folder from my desktop and copied to this USB drive to test. Folder had many smaller files, word docs, PNG, excel spreadsheets, PDF's etc. About 30GB of data with about 23,000 files or so with many folders and subfolders. Well I didn't even finish the test before I quit. This drive just absolutely choked and had a hard time getting thru it. I quit after about 10 min and it had only copied around 6 GB. I have older USB 2.0 flash drives that make that transfer much faster. I also have external SSD that can transfer that data in about 2 min. (T7) and another that can transfer that in about 32 seconds. (TB enclosure).
After my disappointment with the first test I attempted to transfer a folder with music 4.4 GB with 739 files. Larger files than before, (Nearly 6MB avg. file size). Results were somewhat better but not much. Very disappointed. After waiting and slogging thru the write process to this drive I did manage to Read that 4.4 GB file and write it to desktop. Read speed in my opinion was satisfactory.
So maybe this drive may work for you. Either you have very large files or need the USB A/C. Hopefully, if you have USB 3.2 your mileage may vary. But this drive is handicapped by its write speeds in my opinion, LIKE SEVERELY!!
