    It got so hot my computer seemed to freeze. Once I removed from the drive my computer unfroze. I ended working from my hard drive and then moved document to thumb drive. It hot to the touch as well.

    I tried to install Linux on this as if it was a hard drive... And in theory with a USB 3 port it should perform at least as well as any mechanical SATA drive... But in reality it was pretty slow. Just using it to move files is also spotty, with peaks as stated but averaging slower speeds. Still a faster than USB 2, just doest really consistently deliver on specs.

    This works perfectly with my MacBook Pro m2. The build quality is awesome, but I wish it came with a top cover so dirt and dust doesn't go into the flash drive. My only real complaint is not being able to easilty encrypt or password protect on the macbook pro. I'm really not sure why this wouldn't be standard with so much hacking going on lately. Overall, this will be my go to daily memory stick. It just sucks I can't put important docs in here until I figure out how to encrypt it.

    Metal style of memory is always the best I hook this memory to my keychain of work but see how this can be useful for home use such as best pictures in it. You can use that to go to any local shop to print out the photos as needed.
