And since the usb is short I don’t need to take it out when I put in it’s case sits as tall as the other knobs the mixer has so the size is perfect

It's especially good for using as a permanent hard-drive expansion on tablets and what not that you don't have to work about accidentally messing up your USB port when you accidentally knock your flash drive.

It actually fits inside the hatch of a USB port and lets me cover it up so it doesn't stick out or can even be seen that it's in circuit. Compared with the size of most (smaller capacity) thumb drives, this is more like a "pinky drive" in comparison.

Would be nice if they could integrate the cap to slide along the body and thus not be separate.

The one thing I'd do to improve it is make a cap that stays put or snaps on. It's rather worthless as it is if you want to put this on your key ring, for example.
