Ever since I got my computer back from the Geek Squad, I have had no problem. My Hard drive was upgraded and the computer runs like the 1st day I got it. The service I got was excellent and computer was fixed in a timely matter. I thank them again..

I had to get a new hard drive for my Toshiba laptop, some how after a Windows 10 update it just went crazy. Richard the tech who worked on it was amazing and very helpful. Its like I have a brand new laptop!!!!!

I added this hard drive to a computer from 2007 as a last ditch effort to keep this computer going and after about a month I have not been disappointed the system is back to running like new. I will add that I also put a fresh copy of windows 10 pro.

Made an old pc much faster. Definitely recommend this as an upgrade to anyone with an older laptop or desktop that just doesn't seem as quick as it used to be. Just make sure to buy that little adapter cradle to make it fit it the old hard drive spot if going into a desktop for like $8 as well and you will need some kind of disk cloning software.

a bit slower than advertised speeds, but overall a good ssd drive. got it on sale for $114.99

My i7 3.5 GHz laptop used to take several minutes to boot up Disk usage was 100% while CPU was almost idle NOW it boots up in a few seconds, wakes up from sleep almost instantly. Best investment I made in muy laptop.

Easy to install. It was quick. What I expected from a ssd.

Performed the normal CrystalDiskMark 6 test on these drives formatted as NTFS under Win10. The seq R/RW test showed speeds in the 400-450mb/s range. Not exactly where the specs list it as but that is likely due to the NTFS overhead. Simpler formats, like exFAT, may get closer to spec speed. Since this is going in a NAS as SSD cache, the delta in transfer speeds wasn't too big of an issue for me.

Playing GTA 5 is a much better experience now, triple A open world games get a massive benefit from SSD loading speeds since textures load quicker. The SSD itself is really light which is awesome for laptops.

Purchased this to replace a 500 GB desktop drive that had failed. You'll want to purchase a little mounting adapter if using in a desktop. Warranty length is good for a budget SSD.

Sometimes you need to run the SSD firmware updater from PNY website but the ones brand new from the store have up-to-date firmware.
