I've been using Sandisk for SSDs due to price and performance. Took a chance on this PNY as it was on sale at a great price. Works as expected and no difference in performance compared to the Sandisks.

Have purchased these before but in the 240GB. Some users at work needed more space so had to get the larger size and going to SSD from HDD is always a huge improvement. Prefer the PNY over the Sandisk.

Easy to install and so far reliable. Not I worry less about my windows drive failing. I still keep a standard drive backup in the tower and a usb portable backup.

This is a nice fast drive and a great value. I’ve never had any trouble with any of the PNY SSD products. No issues setting up.

Got this one for $109 on sale for a 480GB. Nice and fast just like all SSD, used it to upgrade an old iMac i5 model and after a clean build of Sierra it ran just like a newer model.

I bought this to put into a friend of mine’s laptop as the mechanical hard drive in if was failing. Told her for not much more than a regular hard drive, she could have something that would make that laptop of hers feel brand new. The laptop it went into, btw, is a Toshiba with a Sandy Bridge Pentium G-series chip. After using Ubuntu to partition the drive to EFI and the included (downloadable) disk cloning software to move the contents of the old drive to this one, it was a matter of popping 5 screws on her laptop, swapping the drive mechanisms, and putting everything back together. From start to finish, it took me 2 hours (because the internal drive was very slow). Boot times dropped from 2 minutes to 15 seconds from a cold boot. The Windows 10 1809 update took about 30 minutes to complete, including download over the laptop’s wireless N connection. Most apps opened instantly. Overall, it wasn’t much slower than my wife’s much newer Core i3-7100u laptop with a similar SSD in it. The only thing that would have made this easier is if the drive was formatted as GPT instead of MBR. Otherwise, great product.

Good quality and very light SSD. Plug and play and speed - read / write is better than HDD. Use it with a mini PC and it works great.

This SSD is very fast and good for PC and MacBooks. I will definitely recommend this product to anyone wishing to take quick backups.

i installed this ssd drive on an older desktop This ssd is a fast hard drive, the boot up feels almost instant this drive has helped to make my older desk top act like a new one!!

There are faster SSDs but if you're not using it in a top-tier machine, why bother spending more $$ than necessary? This CS900 is the more economical version of the excellent CS1311. This one works fine in both Macs and PCs. Older Macs with Nvidia 3G HD controller chips are finicky and will, if provided with a 6G HD, only run at 1.5G. The PNYs (both CS1311 and CS900) overcome that issue and work at 3G speed with a 3G controller chip. This is a good product,

I bought this for my laptop after watching videos about SSD's. Lightning fast compared to the HDD. Boot up speed are fast. I would recommend.

Let's be honest: these are cheap low-end SSDs. That said, I have yet to have a single one fail on me and they are astronomically faster than any rotating hard drive (what we in the business call "spinning rust.") I will definitely be buying more of these drives. If you don't need the even higher performance of more expensive SSDs, why pay more? These are perfect, and a great investment for most people.

If you need a quick SSD that comes with a great data migration software then look no further. I had no issues migrating all my data from my old spin drive to this lightning quick (comparatively speaking) ssd. And yes I use windows 10 which normally throws fits but worked flawlessly the first try
