The price was right when compared to comparable products. I used this to upgrade my home theater desktop to SSD drives and it is working great. No issues. Glad I finally upgraded to SSDs. I always look for the best buy at the right price and this was it this time.

Good size and value

Bought this one for a TabloTV DVR and works like a charm. Very fast, runs cool and silent. And if you are buying it to clone an existing spinning drive, it comes with a free download and license code for Acronis cloning software.

Updated my ancient 2011 Lenovo L512 laptop and it runs like brand new. Best upgrade I've made to date. If you have an old laptop and want to improve performance on the cheap then an SSD is the way to go and you can't beat the price on the PNY

GREAT PRODUCT - I WISH BB WOULD STOCK MORE -

I've been checking everyday but NO STOCK on SSD Drives. I love the drive but not the aggravation of OUT OF STOCK - BB is loosing $$$ by not stocking SSD's even when there is a sale or price drop.

I was in need of something close to 500 gigs. I wasnt even sure a 480 existed. Its an odd choice of storage size but it was close enough. I have had no issues yet in the project. Its able to load my storage as quick as possible and is in replace of an old ide hhd with the help of converter cables.

Replacing the existing drive, in a laptop or desktop, is straight forward. Be aware that in a desktop you may need to also purchase a SSD 2.5" to 3.5" drive bay mounting bracket.

Brought Life to my Laptop

Transferred the data from my old hard drive to this new SSD, rebooted my laptop and it was such an improvement. I would definitely recommend this SSD to a friend.
