The PNY 120GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive for Laptops is a good entry level SSD for basic laptops to give them a boost over the older mechanical hard drives. The performance is pretty good for the price, and it even comes with a spacer to make sure it sits firmly into some laptops that may have had a slightly thicker original hard drive.

I have bought many of these and they are excellent for the price! Fast and cheap. Great for external enclosures or to bring speed to an old computer!

I do a lot of small robotic projects and they have to have an indestructible boot up and run ability and these little inexpensive drives do the trick , i put them in center of project so they see minimal physical shock and if i were to use a spinner type non solid state it would have extremely limited life expectancy and with a moving robot near humans i can't take any chances . I don't think it would be possible with the older drives that have a spinning disk so this gives me freedom to design with minimal care for physical anti shock mounting .

Great price for this small SSD. I use it to boot a separate operating system. It's fast enough for just that and you can't beat the price.

SSD GOOD HDD Bad. this can be overpriced but on a good sale is a great option to revive an aging pc or upgrade a new one that has cheaped out on storage.

This is a great entry level SSD hard drive. As with any SSD, if your migrating over from a traditional spin HD, the performance boost will be instant. Enjoy booting into Windows in less than 10 seconds, and lightening fast application launches. This entry level SSD is great for the everyday student or home user.

Installed new PNY 120GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive in 11 year old Dell laptop. Dang thing runs like brand new now. Amazing. Highly recommend!

It put this ssd into my old Lenovo i-3 laptop. Definitely see some performance improvement in general speed and processing on old hardware. Incredibly easy to install.

I have bought 3 of these drives so far. I am using them in old laptops to speed them up. So far, no problems, and the speed boost has been significant.

Picked this up on sale and it was a no brainer. Very fast and easy to install and use. I have mine setup on my Mac as a startup drive for OS Catalina

Use this when I build a computer I have the OS on it. Boots out fast. And I have enough room to put a couple of the main games I play on it. It was a great value.

Upgrading old computers with these is almost a no brainer, given how cheap they've become, especially with 120GB sized drives and a brand name like PNY.

If you don't need to store movies, huge files, this is for you. 120GB is perfect for light use. It does it jobs, fast.

I purchased this sdd to replace my old hard drive in my MacBook pro 15-in 2009. Very simple to install as I'm no tech wiz. Works like a charm and sped up my MacBook drastically.

It's relatively small capacity, but I don't need much in this PC. The performance boost was very impressive using this as a Windows 10 boot drive. Great price too.
