I am using the SSD as an external boot drive to speed up an old iMac. It is significantly faster through USB 3.0 than the old internal hard drive. It is a cheap way to keep the iMac running without opening it up.

Great for space and storage for a beginning pc I use it for my operating system and programs. Speed is fast

The ssd is lightweight and fast. Windows 10 boots up in less than 10 seconds. Applications open quick as well.

The PNY 120 provides great performance for the price. If you only need a small amount of storage, this would be a good product to use.

I did not need a lot of space and since this was for an older machine I did not need the 3D ability that some SSD have. Therefore I went with this unit which was 1) available at my local store and 2) nicely priced. While the storage is smaller than others that I could have installed, this machine is not keeping old files or photos or other items which I either place on externals or in the cloud. Therefore the ease of the install and transfer of the old software made the experience pleasant as well.

I bought 6 of these on sale to replace spinning disks on various older computers. Swapping them in was easy. While I did fresh installs for each machine, it looks like there is PNY/Acronis cloning software to migrate from your older/larger HDD to the SSD (granted the total amount of space doesn't surpass your new SSD). It has been over a year since they were put in place & all 6 SSD are running like champs.

This is hard to mess up, and is very fast loading my OS, Windows 10. This is the best purchase I have made lately, to make my system faster.

Installing the drive in my laptop was easy. Simple upgrade to speed up my old laptop and make it useable again.

Bought this drive to finish off a build I was making for my sister. She doesn't need an SSD for anything other than booting the OS, so this was perfect for that. You don't need a crazy amount of space for Windows and a few small programs. It's very fast compared to old harddrive technology. Definitely a huge upgrade for those who've never owned a computer with a solid state drive. Will Update this review if I find out she has any issues.

This was only $29.99 on sale and was a great purchase. The SSD is fast and was an easy upgrade to an old desktop I had laying around.

Best Buy has a lot of good deals on hard drives. I buy a lot of product on the app and online. I am building myself a gaming desktop and my son seen it and now I'm building by 12 year old son a gaming desktop to. The solid state hard drives that I have purchase are great. I have purchase as of right now 6 hard drives from Best Buy I love them and I have no complaints

I use an older Dell Inspiron 15 for Linux and Win7 apps at the makerspace and this gives me better speed and reliability.

I bought this as a boot drive for an old PC, it’s been extremely reliable and fast. Worth it for the price.

PNY fast reliable and great SSD. Hard drive even better than other brands I have use because it let you use Actonis from PNY. Sweet

I purchased this SSD for an upgrade to a friends laptop. It was only $26 and the speed it quite fast over the traditional HDD.
