    I bought this for an old tower to replace a 7200 rpm hard drive that was dying. I am very happy with the performance of this drive. It took an old dated machine and brought it back to life. It reduced the startup time to about 15 seconds and the programs open up as soon as you click on them. Very little lag time. Swapping the data over from the old drive to the new one was very easy with the provided software.
