I paid only $22 US for this 120 GByte SSD which caused me to be suspicious. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked great. I put it on my old Thinkpad T60 and I now have a rejuvenated laptop. I've told my fellow bottom feeders about this deal.

I use this SSD as a boot drive in one of my builds. Fast read and write times and will last quite a while. My system boots into windows in 5 seconds from hitting the power button (Though other factors may vary) Excellent drive! I highly recommend this to anyone!

Perfect for juicing up an old laptop. Replaced the hdd (super easy btw) in an old lenovo that I had and wow, this thing is really quick now. Boots up in seconds. No problems at all with this drive. Actually going to get another one for my kids laptop.

This drive is perfect for refreshing PCs and Laptops that still use hard drives. Especially ones that really just get used for web browsing and video streaming. I revived two laptops that were unusably slow because the hard drives were gimping otherwise decent hardware. It's very common. If you're in the market for a new PC, make sure it comes with an SSD. If I were buying an SSD for a gaming PC, I'd go with a higher end one. This one would be fine, but there are higher end ones that have bigger and better chips in them.

Amazing quality and fast SSD. I wanted a fast, cheap drive for a PC laptop. I bought this drive, installed Windows 10 and had the system running in no time. I still have plenty of room for other apps. Plenty of room for Microsoft office.

This SSD is fast and super affordable. I understand the need for a 256gb or 500gb, but this solid state drive is awesome for a boot drive. I use it on my 2014 Mac mini as a boot drive and that mini is running fantastic.

Excellent device. Perfect for replacing a hard drive with confidential data on it with a fast new device so it can be donated to a kid who can't afford one and who really needs one. Not bad for a $20, device

I've bought these CS900 drives before to use them as a bootable drive in my person computers, they usually boot up pretty fast and haven't had any problems with this drive model until now.... I have a dell Inspiron desktop and for some reason the drive locks up on boot up, or logging in, sometime after it's already duly booted this is on windows update 1803. Another strange problem is that when I've upgraded to windows 1903 the drive works for a few times then just straight up won't boot. I've had to format and reinstall windows 10 2 times already after installing update 1903, however it does seem to work best with version 1803. If you experience these problems exchange it asap I can no longer exchange it unfortunately but I am satisfied with how fast it boots and makes the pc more responsive when it works.

PNY may not be the most popular, or the highest quality, but it was the best price per GB, and I'd trust these to do the job for many years, and about as quickly as any other.

excellent better than I expected from this brand, the boot of my computer is almost immediately in fact with my old 1tebyte hard drive was not slow but it took more time to open the applications now it is immediately as new I recommend it, and was on sale .

I have bought a few of these to bring life back to older MacBooks that I restore to working condition for fun. These SSD's hold up great and have much better speeds over the standard HDD in older Mac OS devices.

The PNY drive is a good price, bang for the buck. Its fairly fast. Very dependable.

Its and SSD so its fast and have had no issues. It replaced a sandisk that failed.
