Installed this on the Acer mini desktop. The speed of the drive is very fast, machine boots up and shuts down so much quicker and programs loads a lot faster. 120GB is a bit small so, I'm using HDD as an external drive. I would highly recommend this product.

I got this for a ten year old Toshiba laptop with 4gb ram and i3 cpu. After I put this in it, I thought I had a new laptop. Takes 10 seconds to boot up and ready to go, programs run super fast.

So I won’t cover performance or build quality but it has both. Instead, my mention is about using this drive in a project that’s space limited. I bought a Dell Wyse 5010 with the full intention of using it as the base to a homemade arcade emulator cabinet. The storage it uses is non-standard, however - essentially a SSD without a case over its components. After looking at photos on the internet, I took the dive and bought one. Saying it fits nearly perfectly is an understatement. The PCB is internally half the size of the case its in. What this meant for me is the bare PCB would fit perfectly inside that little case. Needless to say, if you want to use a thin client as an emulation machine, this is the drive to get.

The Solid State Drive was a perfect fit in my All-in-one Acer. It was very easy to install Windows and the PNY is super silent. Now my computer is way faster than before. 2 if my friends bought 1 as well. You can't beat the price.

This is the lowest price SSD I found at Best Buy, bought it on sale when it was under twenty bucks, you really cannot beat it at that price. It made the laptop really fast and I retained the original HDD for second drive.

Definitely worth picking up to speed up an old laptop, includes software to make the transfer easy if you have the right cable. Be aware of BIOS changes that sometimes need to be made when upgrading to an SSD on a UEFI system
