If your looking to replace a hard drive, this product moves at lighting speed and is reliable. Holds true and lives up to its performance. Only wished I went with a higher storage capacity.

One of the best things you can do to an old slow laptop is to replace the hard drive (usually the slower 5400rpm ones) with a SSD. PNY makes a great one for the money. Don't think you can find a better Price vs. Performance SSD.

Easy to Install, used aomei software to move data from hard drive to SSD. the fit was perfect for the drive bay. Our system was running much faster on boot up and overall use of the internet, emails etc.

If you havent done it yet, make the switch to SSD. My boot times are so fast now, I turn my computer all the way off when i am not using it. I sacrificed power for convenience. No more. Installation was a breeze. Put in the case, plug up the two wires, boot up. Once in windows, go to disk management to locate and format the new drive if it doesnt show up on its own. If you are cloning windows from another drive, there are several free softwares that do this very quickly and youre set. Remove the old drive or go into bios at bootup to select the new drive as your boot drive. Bam, enjoy the speed! Its not a 5 min job, but is worth the time to do.

I installed this SSD in an older but upgrade Dell Optiplex 780 MT desktop. The start up for the old desktop is much faster now. My main hard drive is a 1TB 2.5 HDD. This SSD was also $30 which makes it the economical choice.

I got this to upgrade from a regular hard drive. I've used a number of PNY products and have always been pleased. It was an easy install and the free software for cloning was a breeze. It is quiet and fast. I recommend it!

I got this drive for a great price and installed it as my Ubuntu 20.04 boot drive. Speed is just about as fast as possible for a sata drive. I haven't had a problem. The device is nice looking.

For getting started this is a great value go-to SSD Drive. I have 2 installed in my PC and they tested above average on a PC benchmark test. I will upgrade later on for more storage but this will do nicely.

That's a great upgrade for ur old laptop, so i uograde my i3 laptop with ssd n believe me, now my laptop power on quick less than 10 seconds, i recommend that if u have slow laptop with hdd than upgrade to SSD

Inexpensive upgrade for speed in older computer. Much faster boot time and no clicking from hard drive seeking anymore.

Just installed it 30 days ago and it works great. Revived an old machine and made it useful again. Replaced a laptop HDD and is quiet and fast comparatively. There are faster SSD's, but for the price, this was a winner.

Needed a SSD to repair a laptop with a corrupted standard SATA Drive. This works wonderfully. Installed Windows 10 Pro without any complications. It is super fast as expected! Great Value for the money.

I needed to improve the performance of my computer and based on my experience adding an SSD is the best way to increase performance. The PNY SSD was easy to install and worked as expected. For the price, I would highly recommend this drive.

I don't know what goes on inside the box but I know it beats those spinning wheels inside the old hard drives hands down. Price is pretty awesome too. I think the days of spinning wheels are numbered.
