I put this in an older Toshiba laptop and what a world of difference, what used to take a couple minutes to boot up from shut off, is now 53 seconds! Applications open in a blink of the eye now! Why didn't I do this sooner!

I purchased this to replace the old HHD on an old HP ProBook 650 G1 and installed Windows 10 Pro. Installation was fast and easy. It's fast from start to when see the desktop is about ~20 seconds.

Just right for doing automated machine control in a physically challenging area ! I do some really challenging things under lots of physically changing environments , I use to control Large 16 foot satellite dishes , and they are outdoors and the hardrive needs to be there on location ,and be remotely programmed ,so with solid state and the correct size i get the perfect match using these in this situation , And if i need for similar projects this is what i buy . No need to spend a lot . I like using retro programs as they are well tested against failure so a good ssd is a necessity , Impervious so far to our swings here in temperature .

If your computer takes forever to start up, excess application load times, and slow data transfer....then I urge you to buy this now. An SSD is probably your cheapest and fasted route to pep up your computer and make everyday use fun again. There are faster options out there PCI-E NVME SSD but most older systems don't support the M.2 interface. This 2.5" SATA SSD fits even older systems that are still in use today. You can use this as a boot drive or for extra storage. If you play any video games you will come to enjoy the faster load times in comparison to a 7200RPM hard drive. I have older PNY SSD from 5 years ago still going strong. For the price and performance I highly recommend one of these.

If you’re looking to upgrade from a hard drive to an SSD, I would recommend it because of the speed and the reliability. This SSD works just as intended and I would highly recommend it

Best bang for you your buck ssd. I was using samsung ssd but when I started my kids pc build, I had to save some cost and using these pny ssd met and exceeded my expectations.

I use these for clients in an office environment. They are still running strong and fast like the day I installed them. In my opinion, these are just as good at a fraction of the price of Samsung.

This drive is much faster at loading files on my computer, making boot up and load times significantly faster than before with my HDD. I highly recommend for a great value and great speed!

Solid budget SSD, night and day difference over previous boot hdd. Speeds don’t compare to nvme drives found on higher end systems but anyone with a older pc will definitely benefit.

I picked up this drive to update a 2012 Mac mini I had laying around. It's not the fastest SSD, but for around $30 (at the time), it was a great improvement over the 5400 RPM drive that came stock in the Mac mini. For very little money, I was able to bring an aging Mac back to life again. Good bang for the buck if updating an older system.

Good Solid State Storage Drive with Solid Performance. These work right out of the box,. I've probably used about 80 of these in various builds. I like the look of the drives when you're in a situation where someone may see the drive. Aesthetics are important. Performance is above average. PNY has been around for a long time. With the new(er) package design and attention to detail, it looks like they are here to stay. Pick one up you won't be disappointed. So far, 0 DOA drives which is good to know your drive is going to work out of the box - its not a guessing game. I'd recommend..
