This SSD really boosted the performance of my PC, everybody told me that it will increase the performance but I never tough that it will be such a great boost, it feels like a new computer completely. I highly recommend it. The only thing is that in the description says that it comes with a cloning software which is not true. I didn't care about this because I plugged it to my motherboard, (you have to buy a 2.5 enclosure) and after I found how to change the partitions system from MBR to GPT I installed a new operative system on the SSD and formated the old HDD of my computer. I was amazed by how fast Windows 10 was installed on this SSD.

I've put these into 10 or 12 PCs so far. It revitalizes an old PC. Can't be described. Any SSD will do this to a computer that has a standard hard disk drive. But the $35 price tag makes this unbeatable.

We has a laptop with a failing hard drive so I ordered this as a hopefully cheap fix. The laptop was pretty cheap to start with so I took a gamble on a cheaper solid state drive and it paid off. The install was easy and once the software was re-installed the laptop worked great again. The laptop has been running on this new hard drive for about a year now with no issues. This was a nice cheap and easy fix to keep an old system running a while longer.

Installed in my daughter's desktop for distance learning. Has worked very well from the start. Very fast but I have no benchmark scores to quantify. Great upgrade for the price

SSDs are just faster than regular old drives. My kid had a miniscule HDD on his older PC so I added this drive to add space and increase speed. He plays Minecraft and Fortnite, and this drive made him happy.

If you're looking to upgrade to an SSD, this is it. Decent size/price ratio. If you want something better than spend the money and get a Samsung EVO or even the PRO. Otherwise, this will do the trick for quick boot times and quicker load screens.

Installed this to breathe new life into an older laptop. Works great. Computer starts up fast. Allowed us to have an extra laptop for the kids during virtual schooling.

Perfect Laptop repair. The device has never worked so fast and this was a smaller HD, but solid state. Glad the guy talked me into this HD over the same one that was in the laptop prior (Dell XPS-15).

This SSD is very fast, I almost cannot really tell that it is working, since there are no moving parts. My computer boots up flawlessly fast. The data seems to be accessed really fast with no lag.

Got a fun project PC or device like a Lakka box that you're putting together? This works well as 240 GB will be enough storage for that OS and all of your retro games from the 70s and 80s through the mid-90s.

Keeping things very simple. This PNY SSD has one job, at least in my system, and that is to boot the main OS as fast as possible so I can get things done. That goes for either work or play. I chose 240GB to run the system, but not to host any important work. I have that data on the old beefy HDDs. This will allow your system to boot in under 30 seconds from a cold boot and within 15 seconds on a system restart. There are bigger names and faster drives, but for just running the Window 10 operating system, it gets the job done--Quickly and quietly. And at the time of this writing for $29

Great price and easy to install. I find this SSD to be very stable and installation is a breeze. I have my own imaging software. It does make life a lot easier if it is package with one.

My computer quit on me during out safer at home. Needed a fix without buying a new computer. Perfect. Tons of storage. Computer is fast. Like a brand new computer.

This hard drive is great. Installed with no problem and now computer boots up very fast. I copyed everything for old hard drive with no problem.

Hate waiting 2 hours for your computer to power on? Have you missed an entire day of work/school (from home) because you were waiting all day on Windows Updates to install? Can opening Notepad.exe cause your computer to become completely unresponsive as it struggles to do even the most basic task? Even if your computer isn't THAT bad right now, it definitely WILL be eventually if you continue to use a regular old last century hard disk drive (HDD). SSD's are so cheap nowadays IDK why you wouldn't AT LEAST get one of these 240GB bad-boys just to throw the operating system on.

Fast, stable, perfect size to rejuvenate an old laptop for student's at home schooling. Even with a 7 year old dual core Intel, it boots up within 30 seconds.

The performance came off true to spec, with strong read and write. I bought this as an upgrade for the old physical drive in my wife's 2010 MacBook Pro 13 and it feels like a new machine. No complaints.

This is the 2nd one I bought, great ssd great price.
