Speedy Drive, Great Size For a Boot Drive and I Loved The Price. I Would Recommend it for Anyone That is Looking For a Upgrade or a Replacement to an Existing Drive.

Installation was pretty straight forward. Replaced the HDD in my wife's ASUS was extremely satisfied in how it's now performing. Boot up is considerably faster, and just faster overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to breathe some life into their laptop if you're still using an HDD for internal storage.

These little solid state drives are lightweight, super fast and one of the least expensive on the market. I have several of them and have never had an issue. Highly recommend!

Installed in friends laptop and has no issues with installation and initial setup. Now boots nice and quick with decent storage for general use.

My new Acer gaming laptop came with a relatively small primary hard drive of 248GB (I know this is standard on a lot of mainstream laptops but when you are loading up game programs, that fills up in no time). Fortunately it has a second bay for an additional SSD and this PNY drive fit the bill nicely. I'm keeping the primary drive for the operating system and core programs/files and the second drive is for personal files and game programs/saves. I've found this works really well because as often happens, you have to reset Windows more often than I would like and when you wipe it you can do a clean install and then when you set up the computer again, Steam and GOG both find the games when you point them to the 'game' drive. Same goes for the personal files, music, and movies. SOOOO much easier than reinstalling/rebuilding everything all over again. This drive was super easy to install, the computer found it no problem, and it has been serving up my games with no lag or hiccups. The price was also great. I'm just kicking myself that I didn't get the next bigger drive up since I'm doing a pretty good job loading this one up!

Great upgrade to an old mechanical drive. A turbo charger for an old tired system.

Installing this SSD drive was simple and easy to do by myself. My computer now is 5 times faster than with the old HDD unit. I am very happy with the results and cost savings. Thank you Best Buy!

Installed in my 2012 MacBook Pro with some additional RAM and brought new life to it! I was about to move on from the MacBook but figured I would try an SSD and RAM boost to see if that would hold me over for another year or two. The results were simply amazing! Feels brand new, boots fast, zippy to use. Highly recommend if your MacBook doesn't have a SSD to try this before buying a new computer. Installation was easy, found a guide online to show you how to remove just a few screws. . Also found a tool to mirror my existing hard drive to an external USB and then install that on this new drive once installed, which worked perfectly and the computer data and setup was exactly the same, just WAY faster!

Got this for an eBay laptop that didn't come with a drive. Boots quick and this brand is reliable enough that I'm not concerned about it failing prematurely

I have bought several of these drives, in capacities from of 120 GB, 240 GB, and 250 GB. They are all working perfectly. One is the main drive in a 24/7 web server, and has been used in that role for over 2 years with no problems. They perform adequately, and about as expected based on the specifications. This adequate performance is a huge increase in speed over a mechanical hard drive.

Just the right amount of storage and speed for your OS install, with a bit of room left over for a game or two

Price is amazing for what you are getting they are basically giving these away at this price! Swapped this in a new cheap laptop and it made the boot time less than half and now programs open almost immediately. If you have a traditional spinning hard drive do yourself a favor and upgrade to an SSD, best <$30 I’ve spent on upgrading a computer. I recommend acorn data transfer software and cable worth the price and made cloning my hard drive effortless :)

2014 HP laptop with old school, very slow, 5400rpm 500gb Seagate drive. Thought "boy this thing is getting slower n slower with Windoze 10". Read about these SSD's breathing new life and speed so figured why not try it. Bought the 240gb ssd seeing I only used around 100 of my original 500 anyway. MAN was I blown away at the speed. Used to take 3-5 minutes to get booted up to a useable system. NOW? 40 seconds before it is ready to go! Only 10 seconds to shut down. After installing 4GB of memory a few years back and not seeing much of a boost I didnt believe upgrading to an SSD drive would do much more. Had to buy the Sata to USB cable for 13 bucks since its a laptop. I bought a second drive for the wifes older laptop too after she was blown away by how fast mine got. ONLY issue is finding free cloning software. Macrium is the only one that will clone for truly free even if you are downsizing a drive from 500 to 240gb. Guess at this pricepoint they didnt want to include cloning software. But lots of them say free until you want to make a clone of your drive...Macrium is truly free. Took about an hour to complete the process. Took longer trying to find this awesome program after downloading so many others to discover cloning isnt free. Ugh.

I bought two of these because they were very inexpensive and perfect for running some additional operating installations that I only occasionally need. Easily plugs in and just works without problems. Very good product considering how little these cost. Best Buy is the only place I buy SSD’s since I want to avoid fakes from A online retailer, and here the price was the best anyway.

I bought this SSD for my aging laptop and boy did it make a huge difference! My laptop had an old 5400 rpm drive and it was really slow. I put this in it and my laptop went from almost being thrown out to being my new media machine. It loads my computer so fast after powering on that I can completely turn it off after every use rather than putting it to sleep. It's faster powering on with the SSD that waking up from sleep with the old drive! This SSD also comes with the Acronis software and let me tell you that this software is a lifesaver. I was able to transfer all of my old files to the new drive and make this my new boot drive so easily. This is the best transfer software I've ever used. On top of everything, the price of this drive was stellar on sale. I got it for only $23 for a 240gb SSD, which is a fantastic price for any drive. Highly recommended.

Nice little SSD that boosts the speed of your old computer to an all time high. It's amazing how this little little piece does better job boosting the speed of the entire system. A better upgrade than when I had to Ram expansion for example. Nice and simple and cheap, yet really helping keeping your old computer around for a few more years at least.
