Easy fast upgrade of older laptop

The laptop was repurposed to someone in need of a computer in the midst of Covid. It made the older machine humm and made a young 6 year old happy to be able to do his homework and participate in his classes.

Decent inexpensive SSD

The price was good on sale, and made the old P4 running Windows 10 usable again for basic tasks. Cons: PNY doesn't provide any software for monitoring the health of the drive. Nor do they provide any software for migrating your old HD to this new SSD. You'll also likely need an additional SATA cable (not included) if you plan on migrating your system/data from an old drive. This is typical with most SSDs and doesn't affect my rating. Reasonable unit for the price - I'd give it 5 stars if it had better software support from PNY.

Major Improvement:)!

I migrated Windows XP from from an EIDE hard drive to this SSD so I can upgrade from XP to Vista, Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate. I highly recommended this card who have an older computer plus it will add more year's use:) :). Just be sure to add a graphics card and power supply unit as well:). Plus update the drivers and software too:).
