Always done well with PNY they used to have lifetime warranties but I can't complain as I have never had to use a warranty yet. Always performs to advertised specs in MY systems. Would recommend before throwing out an aging computer, I bet you'll be surprised at the difference.

installed easily, fit well, was able to be recognized and partititioned and formatted and has performed well. Reduced boot time by 50%, and has worked flawlessly. and improved storage and recovery time.s there are more expensive brands, but dont know what they give you

The 240GB SSD replaced a 160GB HD in a 2007 notebook computer. The Linux-Lite system was installed on it and the notebook now works better than ever before. So far the drive is working well. The higher I/O drive speed makes the notebook very usable again.

Works well as a boot drive holds all the programs I need it to with about half the storage capacity left over.

Installed this and my system boots great. Not a Samsung but definitely great bang for the buck.

I have been using PNY SSDs for about 5 years, they have always been my go to, as they come with the Acronis True image installation as a small perk (just in case you are transferring and not doing a clean install). I would however note that these are only about half to two-third the speed of their predecessor the CS1311 series, which rules the SSD world! If you have the money get the CS1311, if not then these are major improvement over HDD and are worth the money for sure!

I replaced the hard drive in my 2011 iMac 27". It made the iMac so much faster than it uses to be. Easy out with the old and easy in on the new PNY 240. If your computer still has a old school platter hard drive you need to swap it out right now!

I bought the PNY - 240GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive because my laptop needed a new drive and since I had bought this drive before and liked it because of the speed and storage space, I decided to purchase the same drive again. The price was unbelievable, too.

I bought this SSD to replace my aging hard drive on my laptop. There are several (free) programs out there to make transferring the data from you old drive to this really simple. The laptop boots up much faster and got a new lease on life.

This SSD make faster my latop. It also come with cloning software and very easy to install.

Bought on Black Friday for 50%. Great price and it was really easy to use. Used it to replace my standard hard drive on acer laptop which took so long to load Windows 10 that I never used it. Now it takes about 1 sec to load and Windows 10 runs beautifully.

For light business use it si the best drive for the price. There may be faster drives but if you are replacing your standard SATA HDD with any SSD the increase in performance and speed is tremendous. I have replaced 10 using this model and no issues.

I work on computers and Best Buy has helped with items like this. When I need something I can check online and get what I need. I’m very happy with the convenience and performance of the ssd hard drives I have been buying for my customers.

I’m running this drive to cache with, it works great, I’m using another one just like it, in my sons computer, to run the operating system. The boot time off of a SSD is unbelievably fast, this drive is great, I rate it up there with Samsung and Hynix...

To think that two years ago this SSD was the same price as a used laptop is a testament to how competitive the market has become & how badly we consumers get swindled when the market is “New.” Anyways! Buy this & you will not be disappointed. Great quality for the price!
