Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the CS900 240GB Internal SSD SATA's performance, price, and ease of installation, frequently citing fast boot times and improved system speed. Many appreciate its affordability and the straightforward installation process. However, some customers expressed concerns regarding the drive's limited storage capacity. Was able to purchase to bad boy as I needed cheap storage for games and it does the job very well. Was able to peel off the sticker and looks nice in my all black build. You must assign this drive when you first use it.

Purchased a new HP laptop, which came with a 1TB old mechanical hard drive. I had put a PNY into my Mom's Dell desktop a couple of years back, and she has had ZERO problems. This model was on sale, so I purchased to replace the 1TB HD. Works great!

PNY may not be the most popular, or the highest quality, but it was the best price per GB, and I'd trust these to do the job for many years, and about as quickly as any other.

This really is key to making your rig run right. This'll make your old school laptop run faster than many sub $400 laptops from big box stores. Couple this with the right ram and you'll have a new beast for a little $$$

The best way to improve the performance of your desktop or laptop computer is to change from a mechanical hard drive to a solid state drive. This PNY SSD was just what I needed at a very good price.

Definitely an improvement over an HDD. Setting this up on my 2010 MacBook Pro was a breeze and the speed was immediately seen with 4 go of Ram and then I upgraded to 8gb of ram and the laptop loads much faster.

I have installed a few of these in different computers. All are still going with no issues. Not as fast as a few, but made a real nice upgrade. Good SSD for a fair price.

I've been using these for pc and laptop upgrades for customers and they work great. Windows installs in about 10 minutes and fast boot times. It's no samsung evo, but for the price it still blows away a mechanical hard drive.

I've put maybe 7 or 8 of these in older laptops to give them new life. They make a huge difference in boot times and general performance. Have had zero trouble out of any of them. Will continue to buy as needed.

I've probably installed 10 or more of these in various computers. They have great read / write speeds and haven't had any issues in the computers I've used them in. A great upgrade for any computer still using a traditional hard drive.

This little thing is great for the price if you're in an emergency, my pc died on me and I needed to swap out the hard drive quick and this was the best choice. Now my pc boots up in under a second.

Absolutely smoking deal ($15). Probably a pricing error but I'll take it. Very meh SSD, but a steal at the price point. Useful to quickly test systems or rapidly transfer large files locally.

Installed this puppy in an older PC that was previously upgraded to windows 10 and it was so slow, it was barely usable. With this SSD, for under $30, this PC is as good as new and will be usable for a few more years.

Perfect to revive an old HDD in a laptop for my nephew. Solid so far and when you can't use a NVME due to older system this is perfect to speed up windows.

This is very fast drive. I wish I would have purchased a larger one. 256gb is not much, once you install windows, office and a couple of other large packages you are down to 50Gb. My advice: go bigger.
