Not the fastest but still a major upgrade from the drive that came in the Alienware desktop it is replacing. The Acronis imaging license is probably worth what I paid for the drive and made the upgrade easier than it should have been.

i use this with a HP core duo 2 and windows 7 works fine,fast boot ,,turn on fast in less than 3 seconds,,maybe with windows 10,it's another story..but no more than 10 seconds i think that,because i have more pcs, with ssd.

I replaced my laptop's original HDD with this solid state drive and I am very pleased with the result. The results are great: decreased boot up time dramatically, faster read and write time. All around great buy.

Once I got everything up and running, the computer was faster than ever; it only took only a couple of seconds to open apps that would usually take over 30 seconds! If you need a cheap way to make your computer faster, then this might be a great choice for you.

This is a product we used to replace issues I had with a computer crash. This product has rerouted the problematic drive. It is working great and had made the speeds so much faster than anything I had before. So far so good.

I like pny for the money. I have bought all sorts of brands and pny has been good a good trustable name for me. I have bought so many ssds and pny are definitely a brand I trust

I replaced a laptop hard drive with this PNY Solid State Drive. It works like it should. It boots fast, so that's what I was expecting. So far, no complaints. If you can get this on sale, it's even better.

Have purchased several of these for budget builds, the drive just works, not the fastest SSD out there, but faster than any spinner drive. Have purchased several 120 and 250 gig drives, all still working.

This was bought to add storage to a desktop computer. I installed it, formatted it, and it just sits there doing its job. No muss and no fuss. As for how long it will last, only time will tell that.

Geek Squad installed this new hard drive in my laptop. Now it runs like new again. This was after another computer tech in another company told me the laptop was shot. Thanks to the Geek Squad for finding a fix for it.

Installed as a boot-drive in my ancient i3 laptop. Transformed its performance to literally faster then when it was new. That plus PNY's reliable customer service its hard to go wrong.

This SSD hard drive is amazing. Easy to install, even for a novice and transfer of date from old drive was easy with Acronis program included. Makes things so fast it is like a better than new computer. Boots up or shuts down so fast.

PNY is not known for their pioneering of technology, but they've always provided a great bang for the buck. They are my go to upgrade path for older electronics or extra storage on existing devices.

The PNY-240GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive makes my laptop run smoother and faster. Purchased two for each of my computers a month ago. My brother purchased one after he saw mine.

Bought for an easy computer upgrade. Connected to the motherboard via a Sata cable and immediately recognized in the bios upon boot up. Have owned it for less than a month with no issues.
