Bought it because it was a known product. I have one on another computer (laptop). Thought it would make a quick start C drive on my desktop computer. It works fine.

I got the PNY SSD (240gb) Internal SATA (2.5") drive for a great deal at Best Buy. I'm using it as my main HD for New R5 3600 with RX580 8GB build. The drive works just like the Samsung 240GB 860 Evo I had before, in my other build. I want to get another one, maybe twice as big, around 500gb or so just for storing video games on. Just be sure to get the metal bracket adapter (like $10) to go with this SSD unless your case has a designated spot just for an SSD. Mine has one dedicated SSD spot, which I will use for the bigger SSD I will get in the future, but I used the metal adapter bracket higher up in the case for this PNY 240gb.

These are the best bang for your buck SSD hard drives. Yes you can buy Muskin or some other no name brands for less money but I have been purchasing this brand for several years and have never lost a drive.

This is a great easy way to speed up your old system. Install your os in this then put your data in your old HD for a noticeably faster system.

Replaced my original Sata-III HDD-5400rpm with this one. Boots up Linux OS in <10 Sec. Old drive took over a minute. Programs open much faster & no more clickity-clack.

Those drives are excellent. I bought many in the past and only once had an issue. Highly recommend it.

Was purchased to upgrade older PC. Works great and gave old computer a super burst of speed. Had to have my own software to clone the drive. Works as expected

Upgraded an older laptop using this ssd. No longer need to replace my laptop. I am not a power user but the improvement has been remarkable. Older HP with 4G ram running Windows 10

Great hard drive, I have had no issues with it at all, very fast and looks good in my all black setup.

Samsung SSD has its own program migrate data and tune the SSD performance. This SSD, however, does not have any. no instructions, and no information on over provisioning either. adding those information will make it better. SSD itself works well. recommend if you know how to image/clone drives.

Put this in an old laptop I had. Turned it into a completely different computer that I didn't need to just throw in the trash. Product works well and would buy again.

This was thrown into an external sled and connected to an Xbox One as external storage. The games installed on this drive load insanely fast - which is why I bought this thing in the first place.

I purchased this SSD drive to replace old drive. It is now faster and responds like a new PC happy with this product. PNY has a good reputation and it is well deserved.

installed this in an old laptop where the hard drive died. machine recognized the drive, and OS reinstall worked just fine. The old laptop is far more snappy than it was before.

Not much to say about this SSD from PNY. If you wish to revive older laptops or older computers that are still using old slow HDD's? Look no further. HIGHLY recommend it.

SSD works as it should. Best Buy messed up the first time round and sent me a defective one first time round (that had someone else’s return label inside)

I purchased this portable hard drive knowing it was not an SSD. With that said it is still quite fast for my applications. I picked it up on sale and have no regrets.

This is an older model and small at 240GB but for the price it was perfect. I used this to upgrade a 10 year old HP laptop. It was slow as grass growing. Even after the factory reinstall of Win7. The Hard drive was definitely suffering. Now it's like a brand new laptop and screams along booting up and browsing the web.
