It's an SSD and that is what I wanted. It's the standard SATA speed. If I wanted faster, I'd have to go to a NVMe SSD. But my device doesn't support NVMe SSD, so this is good for me.

It works well. Replaced my mechanical drive with this SSD. The complimentary software helped a lot copying the original content on the hard drive to the new SSD, including the operating system too.

PNY is a great brand for all of their memory products and this drive is up to their high standards. Much faster than a standard hard drive and much lower power draw which is always good for a laptop.

Nothing wrong with the read and write speed of the PNY CS series ssd. My other drives are OCZ Vertex 4 240 gb and Samsung EVO 850 1 tb and this PNY loads as fast as these drives for a cheaper price.

Got this drive to replace an ailing SSD drive in my PC. Was able to clone my old drive to it without issue. Plenty fast Best Buy’s price was less than anywhere else I looked.

Initially I has apprehensive, but was easy to install. Migrated old data using free software on line. Made my old laptop boot very fast. Gave a new life to it.

Already had one of these for the main hard drive/OS. Wanted another to help with pixelation in recorded TV shows and this has dramatically improved the recordings. Well worth it to me.

PNY has never disappointed me. Never failed on my installs, so it has been my go to SSD for laptops. I have done multiple installs using PNY brand and the results have always been excellent.

Truly helped my computer run faster, was installed easily with geek squad. I would recommend for computers that are performing slowly and are slow in general.

This drive was give my 6 year old computer a new life. One filled with faster then 40mph speed lanes. This is my second one this month, so I can’t tell you how long it last. It has been doing great in the other closet computer that is enjoying the faster then 7200 speed limit. I would buy it again.

My computers hard drive was on it's way out so I decided to upgrade to an SSD. Bought this one for the price and I love it. Computer boots up in about 15 seconds now! I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I've deployed close to 100 of these in business PCs with Windows 10 and they're excellent. Good size for endurance when not a lot of data is stored locally. Solid read and write performance.

nice and fast. also looks nice on any build since it has a simple design so if you wanna mount it on the glass side of your pc you can and it'll look nice

As someone who was extremely limited in terms of money, this SSD was the perfect price to suit my needs, and it's still way faster than your typical slower HDD. I recommend this completely.

So far so good. There are some other issues that are needed to be dealt with but the sale price of the item was definitely a good one. The way that the employee helped us order it and had it shipped to us for free after running into some issues with the shipping cost when it was it was suppose to be free, he made sure of making things right and giving us the discounts we deserved. Including our veterans discounts. Now every time we have gone into that store it has been nothing but negative NEGATIVE expiernces!

For the price (less than $40), upgrading my SSD drive AND having very decent cloning software ... it was definitely a BEST BUY! I kept the old replaced drive as an "insurance policy".

I can't believe the difference in speed- amazing. I took my MacBook for repair when it was unable to boot. Shop recommended this drive type and I found help at Best Buy to select this one. Very pleased.
