Whenever I was in Best buy I would pick up one or two extra hard drives for the multiple machines I work on to fix and set up for people. these drives work out great

Picture this - I had just bought a 2nd hand laptop and it stumped me what the problem was - I had a 1 tb hd, core i7 processor and 12 gigs of ram. and. still. really. slow. Even after taking to a computer shop, it still was quite laggy, and my brother actually recommended me to upgrade to SSD. Albeit the storage space is smaller, the performance MAKES UP FOR IT TENFOLD. Trust me, making the switch to SSD was a game-changer, and this was super easy to clone my current drive on, and install - took about maybe about 3 hours for the whole process. And now my laptop does not take 3 hours to boot.

Am very happy with product used it on my old laptop and it worked great siginificant speed compared to the mrchanical hard drive

Old desktop slowing down & BB had a good deal on this SSD. Ordered on-line with pick up at local BB. Very easy. 1) MB has two SATA ports for HDD and DVD. Picked up the 2 Port SATA III PCI-e card to add port for this SDD. Install card + firmware. 2) install SSD. SSD has two cable connectors. Instructions not clear on this but you connect SATA cable to small connector and power cable to large connector. 3) follow instructions to backup & transfer data; update boot drive in BIOS & presto, in business. Very nice speed boost with this SSD with nominal cost. Should add a few years to life of this desktop! Recommended.

fast and very good price I know this brand from Memory dimm for pc and laptops and now they came to SSD Hard Drive biz and they are doing pretty good job.

So far, still working fine after 30 days. Previous hard drive on the computer was the original and only a few months old. I am skeptical, now, so time will tell. Bob

Put this into a custom built PC and has proven to be fast and reliable. Windows boots up and I'm logged in and online in about 12 seconds.

Doubled size of my Windows drive, once I figured out that I could create/restore image from Windows 10 itself, instead of using a third party image creator.

So far, so good. Like all SSDs I've used it is fast. Good value for the price if you don't need LOTS of storage.

Great value and worked great for upgrading an old 2010 Macbook Pro. Performance is a huge upgrade and made my old mac feel like new! Fast and silent.

This SSD does a wonderful job of taking an older PC with an old spinning hard drive and speeding it up. The process is not too hard, however if you have some technical ability you can complete the process. The older PC this went into booted up in just a few seconds. When sizing SSD's always allow for 50% free space. Don't get a drive that will have more than 50% in use right from the start. SSD's will die faster when filled to the brim and are not allowed space to move files around.

Excellent Read and Write speeds. Very reliable and would definitely recommend. Big performance jump from a standard hard disk drive. Money well spent!

I purchased this ssd to upgrade a 2012 mac mini from the standard hard drive. It went in very easy and its a night and day difference between a HD and a SSD.

Great SSD for the price. Works great swapped out my old HDD in my HP laptop for this SSD and got a noticeable improvement in boot up time and run performance.

Works as intended, great product. If you need an easily swappable solid state drive, this is the product for you.

Love having an SSD now and love the much better load and restart times I get to enjoy from using one. This one in particular is nice because it's a decent size to use as a boot drive and still has enough room leftover to put a few select items on that you may want to load faster than others like specific games or programs. I would highly recommend anyone who isn't using an SSD to make the switch over to using one. If unsure how to go about it or worried it might get goofed, there's always the GeekSquad people to help out or even do the whole thing for you, and at the price this SSD is listed, 100% worth the price point.

Let's be real, you're here because of the price. You're here because you need a new hard drive. Let me make it easy for you. The drive works great and runs smoothly. With your OS installed on the drive it reduces your load up/shut down time significantly. I installed it into an old PC, roughly 10-12 years old. There wasn't even an ssd slot available so I used only 2 screws to hold it in place. It works great. Got it? It works great.

Great price for a solid drive, I used it to speed up an old laptop for a friend and he was very happy with it.

wanted to replace my primary 250 gb hard drive since i heard it making noises on start up and during the time the computer was up. found this SSD at Best Buy on sale. used AOMEI Backupper Standard to create a clone of the hard drive. unplugged the hard drive and plugged in this SSD using the existing SATA and power cables. wow, start up boot is fast and starting up applications are fast. this drive makes my old computer seem to run faster. i am very happy that i switched to this SSD.
