original one needed to be replaced

The tech identified slow performance due to the original part and recommended a new one that was not in stock, so he said to order it online. After 9 days, it still had not arrived. Tech cancelled the online order (like "pulling teeth") and sold me one that was now in-stock. After installation, I had to return to the store 3 times for the tech to get various things connected properly. Poor, poor poor installation service!

Budget ssd

Well worth the price for increase in performance

First class product with all necessary to install in your lap top (as a replacement hard drive). Comes with Acronis "cloning software. Simple (and fool proof) to use and set the new SSD drive to replace youre factory original. Was so please I purchased a second one.

PNY or Sandisk ?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well this ssd for $40 was not too bad when I bought it and after loading win 10 into still not too bad but I do have a sandisk ssd which is faster then this drive. Boot time on my sandisk was about 10 secs flat to PNY around 15-20 secs. The build quality has a super plastic feel to it to where the sandisk version doesn’t.

The laptop is definitely more responsive with this faster non spinny drive. This drive has held up well and I have no issues with it. I recommend this SSD.

Solid Boot Drive

Gotta say Windows doesn't boot faster but the one thing that the NVMe I went with does better is launch apps and open Vegas Edit 15 in a fraction of the time. Solid choice overall for a boot drive though.

Sure, it's not as reliable or as fast as the expensive alternative, but neither is your old computer, which would otherwise be sitting there collecting dust.
