    Upgraded the hard drive on an old laptop for more storage space and this PNY works great. It was also on sale when I bought it.

    Well i was expecting a TLC drive but it turns out to be a QLC drive with Phison PS3117-S17 controller. Well the good news of that is that the NAND is from Micron so i think it will be reliable... Over all for this price i think it is ok.

    This SSD is the pinnacle of “you get what you pay for”. As far as i understand, you’re not paying for DRAM Cache, which would make this drive so much faster, but it is a servicable budget option, especially when on sale.
