Nice way to refresh an old PC

Windows runs like a dream and is fast when compared to old spinning hard drives. This is a nice gateway to upgrade your old dying PC. It's not amazing when compared to other SSDs and is a sloth compared to newer NvME SSDs. Buy this to refresh an old PC only.

Renewed and refreshed old laptop with this SSD

Completely renewed the system. I highly recommend this SSD for that purpose. The laptop is working better than ever.

Great performance for the Cost

In my opinion they are a very good value. I only have one point of comparison and that is with a WD brand of the same size and I feel that the PNY is faster. I haven't had either in service long enough to compare the reliability. I would recommend this item for the value and performance.

My laptop performance improved after replacing my old sata disk drive with this one. Easy installation, since pins are compatibility with old one, simply removed old and inserted this one. of course I have to backup my OS to usb and then restored back to this to boot the OS from new SSD.

Great bang for the buck

I couldn't use an m.2 due to the older motherboard on that computer, so I got this drive instead. Definitely loads into windows faster than the old hard drive it came with- just had to use an adapter to put into a standard 3.5 inch drive slot, plug it in, and install a modern os. Bought for a pretty good price too, yet still a great value even at normal price compared to the bigger names like Samsung. For computers that don't have an m.2 slot I would highly recommend this drive. Just remember to pick up an adapter if you're upgrading a desktop, which are easily found right here at Best Buy. Unless you're making a solitary drive build, 500 gb is plenty!
