You can't really use most of the space because of this so recommend going to another faster and smaller size brand if you want to pay the same.

Just make a backup with file explorer and whatever else is faster. I mean, it is half a terabyte on a trinket the size of the average thumb, hence, thumb drive, so it's a little more portable than a bulky hard drive or SSD case. Gotta use the blue USB slot for the best results, by the way.
