Easy to use for a novice.

I have not needed to retrieve any info from it, as yet, so I ca not say for sure it will deliver expected results. I'm sure it will.

Don't reformat! Slow speeds should be expected

I remormatted to use the NTFS since that is supposed to be faster. NOPE! Locked it up and no longer usable. WASTED $40 I now only use the second one to back up my computer files. It is easy to use. I love the fact it is large enough to hold all of my files for safety back-up.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use it to record shows online from a box so not sure if it's the flash drive or the box...at times recorded show breaks up and takes awhile to stop as leftover recording of sounds of tv. The good. part is it blinks so I know that it's recording. I like that it's more memory compared to my past ones.
