Junk, Junk, Junk!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own 3 PNY - Turbo Attaché 4 256GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drives (the original ones that sold for about $65) and they work beautifully. I bought this one for $99.99 and it's terrible. As I'm watching a movie file on my Blu-ray player it reaches a certain point and a box pops up, "USB not recognized, rebooting system". The machine reboots and I have to find where I was just for it to happen again and again. PNY has the nerve to call this one "Elite", HA! what a joke. I paid more and got less. I'm returning this piece of junk.

Prepare to lose money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the product itself is good the fact that u lose ten gigs before putting anything on it is just a ripoff. U are buying at retail= full price yet of u purchase you are shorted ten gigs. Make it make sense

Very Slow Write Speeds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these and copied files from an internal SSD. I found write speeds to be incredibly slow, only about 1-10 MB/s. I plugged them into different USB 3.1 Gen2 ports on my computer with the same result. I reformatted the drives to exFAT, but they were still slow. To make sure the computer was OK, I transferred the same files to an old Lexar flash drive I had. The transfer speeds to it were several hundred MB/s. The drives I purchased certainly do not operate at USB3 speeds

Just get an external ssd
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe I got a lemon, but a flashdrive dying in a single day with no drops/physical damage is just a little too unreliable. Wasn't happy to have to drive back to return this piece of junk, most likely component failure

SLOW SLOW SLOW Poor too high a rating
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Slowest thumb drive ever bought; low price but not worth it at one fourth the price; takes HOURS to transfer 20 gig - terrible; problem seems the actual storing; xfer quick - stops for long period - xfer quick - stops for long period on and on; whatever it is doing during the long periods counts against the transfer time; I will never buy another PNY product; can't trust 'em.
