Worked, but may not be compatible with all USB 3.0
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this PNY drive along with some others as an extra to use for some general data transfer tasks, wanting the USB 3.0 speed upgrade to help move my tasks along--and it certainly didn't hurt that they were on sale at the time. But when I got the drive, the speed was hardly better than USB 2.0. After comparing speeds between this one and other drives of the same size and type, but of a different brand, there was just too much difference to justify keeping the PNY. I still like the PNY brand, and would recommend trying it on your system if it's on sale, as I think the issues I had were due to compatibility with my system, not any problem with the drive itself.
