BestBuy had it on sale so the choice was pretty easy when compared to the other brands. The slide cover is a little stiff the first few times, and the smooth end makes it resist when you try to pull it out of snug USB ports. It is short enough to fit in tighter access areas like top of pc case (I have my computer on a slide which is under my desk and have 2 USB ports on top).
