This USB was purchased to create a restore/recovery disk for a new computer. It was more than necessary, as a 32 GB would have been sufficient. This is especially true since you don't want to write over your recovery image inadvertently. So my suggestion is buy a 32 GB, create your recovery disk, and store in an envelope with your other computer documentation and receipt. If you want a Flash drive to store photos, etc then buy a 64 GB or try a TB Passport for even more space to store music and/or photos.

Use this to backup my iPhone music library. Speeds were very fast compres to my old USB 2.0 thumbdrive

it is a flash drive. it has 64gb of storage. uses usb 3.0 so its pretty fast. not much else to it. does what it needs to do.

This usb was 64 gb for about $30. it was an amazing price for the storage. It is a boring gray color but that's the only negative thing.

I was changing companies and needed to wipe my computer clean of all of my contacts and personal information so the best option was to download everything to this drive and then have all of the information available to upload to all of my new corporate information. This was the best tool option that I could find to serve the purpose for what I was looking for and at the best price!!! It served its' purpose in the best way that I could think of any other product and at a very reasonable price

Installed it on my Mac Mini to use as my iPhoto library in order to free up hard disk space. It worked seamlessly from the outset. It is installed in a USB 2.0 port, but is much faster than a typical USB 2.0 device. Very happy with this purchase.

I use these USB 3.0 sticks for backing up my important files. I do a regular hard drive back up of my PC regularly but the hard drives are mechanical and electrical by nature. We all know they can fail. So with regular backups on a hard drive I do a photo back up and document back up also with a USB 3.0 stick, and when it's full I just toss it in a safety lock box at the bank. They take up very little space.

Purchased this flash drive to store music from CDs to play in a new vehicle that does not have a CD player. So far so good! I may have been a little enthusiastic by purchasing two 64GB drives since I've copied many CDs and barely made a dent in the capacity of one. The second will be used for backup of my data files. Glad to have found a solution to both issues.
