Flash drives are used by most folks so I felt I couldn't go wrong with getting one for this gift exchange. I could have gone with a smaller drive with less capacity but when I found this unit, I was sold. It has a large amount of memory and is also USB 3.0 compatible at a good price. The person who received this gift was very happy.
