It is my first USB 3.0 storage device and the speed is amazing. The port has a retractable feature that is handy but does not really "lock" for inserting into the pc and causes it to retract while inserting.

We plugged in to computer and it in to the computer and it didn't take long at all to get off computer and stillhad plenty of spacr lefy over. Also no problem when we reinstalled id.

Please note, as a 3.0 type it is for newer computers and will not work with your rather old laptop or desktop.

I purchased it after the hard drive on my computer died and I hadn't backed up files for several months. I won't let that happen again!

Awesome Little Drive

I even use it to transfer to and from my Galaxy S9 and the speed is great. I also stream from it on my smart tv. Picture is flawless, which means the transfer rate is great.
