    After reading different brands I picked this one based on a review from another consumer that this works best for Apple MacBook. It tells you what you must do get it to work. Others don't work. Apple products have a different platform so you have to make sure you get something that works

    I have many thumb drives that I use to download and backup various items. It may be pictures for showing on the go or documents that I want to ensure I have a backup copy. I also use to create a backup of my laptop computer for use in case I need to rebuild it.

    I keep my music library on a flash drive. This way I can have it regardless of which computer I am using. Also plugs into the USB in my car. I have always been a big fan of PNY. Even though the drive is housed in plastic, the plastic case is solid and durable.
