Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 2GB graphics card's performance and ease of installation. Many appreciate its affordability and compact size, making it suitable for various computer builds. However, some users note limitations in the card's memory and potential fan noise issues. The card's gaming capabilities are considered adequate for less demanding titles.

If you already have a 2.0/3.0 x16 Video card this card will most likely not help you at all it runs at 3.0 x4 and does not tell you on the Box when you buy it in store For real if you make a x16 slot card make the interface x16 You can fit a x1/x2/x4/x8 in a x16 slot next time just make a x4 slot card......

Can barely handle 1 monitor at 2560x1080 resolution. Only reason I got it is because there was not much options available unless you want to overpay 3-4x. I'm just waiting until newer graphics cards are in stock and hope that my new build isn't obsolete by then.

Computer kept on freezing, even though this model was recommended by a Best Buy associate. Geek Squad and PNY even tried trouble shooting. Once removed, and returned, no PC problems.

While I think it might have been a defective card (the box had been open previously), it wouldn't pass the P.O.S.T. on my PC. Thankfully, BestBuy gave me a full refund.

Good gaming in low profile cases with low wattage

I bought this PNY GT1030 card for a Dell Optiplex 790 Slim PC to use as a gaming machine. Yes there are better graphics cards out there, but for this particular computer with a stock Dell slim 240 Watt power supply in it, this is a great choice. It runs cool and stable without needing a power supply upgrade or any additional power connection to the power supply. Perfomance change on the game Subnautica as example. It was running at 5FPS with a Radeon HD3000 series card all settings on low and resolution at 720P. It now runs Subnautica at 30FPS with all settings on high and resolution set at 1080P. Bottom line if you need a low profile gaming card and want to use your stock power supply, it's a great option for the price for sure.
