    Great gaming card

I've had no problem with reliability for this card, which I'm only using for games. I've built PCs many times over the years, and it's become pretty easy, albeit it's so hard to get GPUs these days. This GPU performs better than a 2080ti, and the extra memory will help it in years to come. It runs maybe 60 degrees if playing Doom Eternal or other modern games maxed out. RTX and VR are great. You can definitely hear that fan, but it seems up to the task. Contruction quality is medium. The housing feels cheap and is plastic, and there were little bits of plastic in the fan that I cleared out before running. Clean your GPU before installing, and listen to it carefully. I also noticed minor mold defects around the housing. I'm sure they are cranking these out to sell as fast as they can. The side is backlit and RGB compatible with my ASUS tuf motherboard, relatively seamlessly. Do not install the PNY velocity software. It's terrible and does nothing to help the RGB. You don't need to overclock this GPU... it's surprisingly powerful for what looks like a budget model. Of course, it's not really a budget model. It's super expensive, more than a 3080 should cost, but I appreciate that Best Buy did make it possible for a normal human being to purchase a nice GPU. I had no problem getting the product on the day I was supposed to. I didn't play any games with the ordering process, no bots or F5 refreshing. to me, saving the time is worth the (substantial) cost premium. One great plus is this card doesn't weigh much and will not stress any physical aspect of my motherboard. It's running fine with a 5700x in a 750 watt power supply, honestly the most trouble-free build I've ever had. If you like modding games like GTAV and Skyrim, the extra memory will really be appreciated. If you're using this to mine, I really doubt it's the best choice due to the smaller heatsink and plastic chassis. It looks like it would be somewhat difficult to tear down and reassemble (less so than a more premium card).

Excellent card. Yes it is a little bit over priced but it is very small, runs cool, and paired with my i9 I can pull 90-120 frames in WZ in 2K with setting maxed. With the current situation and scalper prices I was very happy to get this card. The only downside I would say is the actual software from PNY. It looks and feels cheap. 12GB does let you push settings up without fear of using all your vram. The card runs cool 75 degrees max under full load. Wish it could integrate with MSI software. Great card for a reasonable price.

I read some reviews saying they just threw this thing loose in a box and that was not the case with mine. It was packaged normally and sealed. I'll say the price is still high for a 3060 but I've seen an extra 80% on top of this from scalpers and local shops. The reality is this is probably the best chance you have at getting a 30 series card for another 6 months below 1k. For me it was a gigantic upgrade from my 670. Probably 3-4x faster at everything and photoshop/lightroom don't have many issues I was having before. The fan is almost completely silent even under load in benchmarks. Really a great card if it was less than 400$ and a pretty good card for above. FYI to change the colors on the rgb you need to get pny's software. It has some overclocking options like afterburner too.

Most expensive 3060 at Best Buy, but still works

Usually PNY is the cheaper brand, which compared to presentation and build quality, that remains true. Example: MSI's Ventus is packaged better, the metal feels more sturdy and even has port protectors, the PNY doesn't. It also is more expensive compared to any other 3060's on Best Buy and the price keeps going up. Besides that though, for the small form factor of this card and with a decent cooling case, the card does preform really well for being a single fan card and truthfully does get the job done.

One of the only, if not the only m-itx cards with any power BestBuy has had in the inventory. It still has enough oomph to hang in there with 1080p gaming and some mid 1440. The price I paid during the shortage on BB was disgusting and makes me wonder why I still shop here, scalpers didn't sell it for that much, but I needed it to complete a build for my son that was half way built.

The card gets the job done. The pricing is way too high though. It's not extraordinary by any measure, but it met the requirements of what I needed and wanted. I used it in an OG Xbox build. I added additional heatsinks to the back of the PCB since it doesn't have a backplate. You'll see I added some aluminum fin heatsinks, as well as a few copper plates. If the card is on a heavy discount and you need a small form factor type card, then this one will work.

I really wanted a 3060ti or a 3070 but I was only able to get my hands on this and I am very glad I did! This card is replacing a GTX 1060 so for me this is a very nice upgrade. The single fan is not overly loud or noticeable to me and under a full load the GPU temp is around 70-72 C. I am running Warzone at 2k with basically all high setting, DLSS set to balanced and getting 90-120fps and the card temp is usually mid 60's during actual gameplay (proper PC case venting helps too). Considering the current GPU situation, I am very happy with this card! The price could obviously be better but this price is still lower than other 3060's I have seen out there.

Enjoy the 12gb it has for games but the single fan is my only complaint. Not bad at the time for the price but there are other 3090 now that have better cooling for the price.

Great Card. Runs cool, quiet. I needed the single fan small form factor to fit in existing case. No issue with 1 fan. Best Buy online order instore pickup was fast, simple and fantastic. Important note: You need the latest Nvidia drivers. This is a 2504 chip not the 2503. 2504 = Hardware limited card, but not advertised on the box. Don't plan on mining while not playing games. It was nice to mine while not playing. It payed for games and the new hardware. The dictatorship of Nvidia and shady practice of not advertising this as an LHR on the box is just plane stupid.

This is an upgrade to my son's GTX 1080. We have been waiting over a year to try and get our hands on a 3070 so we grabbed this when it became available. It works great even as a single fan card. I know there is a chip shortage but the fact that the price is more than a retail 3070 Ti is a little annoying but it's better than the scalpers. Until this shortage is over or you are lucky enough to grab something better, this card is great for playing all the modern games, albeit not at ultra settings, but playable with no stutter or artifacts.

This card is for people who were desperate like me. I originally purchased it because I wanted an RTX 3060 for msrp could not find one for my life. Until this little guy showed up….at nearly double the MSRP of an RTX 3060. After months of searching, I bought it. Why? Because it was the only RTX 3060 that I could find on any website that wasn’t asking for $800 excluding taxes. It was a small win for me, though it was $669 and some change after taxes. Yes CA sales taxes are very high. I picked it up. I drove it home. I stared at the black, green and red print on the box. I then, let it sit in my closet on the upper shelf behind some boxes as I waited for my mini itx case, itx motherboard, Ryzen 5000 series cpu and 16gb ram kit and 650W power supply to arrive. I was finally building my new rig and wanted a gpu that would last at least the next 3-5 years and finally had it. But, I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that the gpu alone cost more than all of my other components combined. It was very unsettling. I debated every single day on whether or not I would install this in my rig, or if I should return it and hope that I can get a better card or slightly better performance within a $100-$200 price difference. So I scoured the internet several times a day, every day…for the past month.. battling it out, trying to get other cards through Best Buy, B&H Photo, Newegg, ebay, amazon, shopblt, Aliexpress, and other potential scam sites to no avail. Sold out. Out of stock. Error. $800-$1200 I had run out of hope. But I never gave up. Yesterday, I finally made the decision to take this bittersweet $669 thorn in my side back to Bestbuy. I decided to return it for a full refund. I felt a huge burden lift off of me. It was one of the best decisions I had recently made And it felt goooood. So, why did I decide to return this thing without ever unboxing it? Well, I am glad you asked…and if you have read this far, thank you. Yesterday, I woke up and it was a routine morning at approximately 6am Pacific time. Of all days, it was my day off of work and I decided to hop online and join a discord that I always check for gpu drops. It went crazy. Drop after drop. They came in waves. Rtx 3060 Best Buy Rtx 3060 ti Best Buy Rtx 3070 Best Buy Rtx 3080 Best Buy Rtx 3080 ti Best Buy Rtx 3090 Best Buy The lights were flashing. The seller was all Best Buy! It was my chance! I immediately opened my browser on my iphone. Logged into my account (autosaved) And what do you know… After waiting in line, Getting verified and adding to cart. I had successfully attained an Nvidia RTX 3070 at MSRP. $127 cheaper than THIS RTX 3060. Nearly double the performance and value at $127 less after taxes. I am extremely happy. I am glad that I waited. The reason why I gave this card 2 stars is two fold: 1) Though it was originally decided that I would get an RTX 3060 for my rig, this was a solid backup plan to my build at a price point that is much less than the scalped prices. 2) Though I had already had this item in my hands, I would never be able to accept the fact that I would have had to pay nearly double for something that could easily buy me something better…and because I won the internet for once and DID successfully buy something better, at a $127 less. If you are in the same boat that I was, don’t give up. Keep trying. Join a discord or 2. Keep trying. It’s okay if you didn’t get it this time, or last time, or the time before that. When the time is yours, it will be yours. Of all the days that I had been checking, the drop happened on my day off. It was meant for me. And though other people dislike Best Buy’s waiting in line, verify your account, add to cart process, do understand that BestBuy is your Best Bet when competing with scalpers and other buyers. This works to OUR benefit. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be here sharing my story. With that said, best of luck to you and happy holidays. Stay safe and I hope this review helps encourage you.

This is a ITX RTX 3060. I love the small form factor since it helps me with smaller builds. I would highly recommend purchasing this for a small build or anyone upgrading from the GTX 10 or 90 series. It keeps temps in pretty good control and there is no coil whining since the bearings are pretty solid even at hot temps (I live in California).

So, I purchased this during the pandemic, which explains the overly high price that I paid for it. It has worked very well for the past three years. Unfortunately, the fan stopped working yesterday which sent temps sky high and gaming frame rates plummeting. Hopefully, I can replace the fan as it is unusable for gaming.

Little small for my liking, but doesn’t thermal throttle. PNY’s program that the user should install doesn’t have many features but does have a nice overlocking and fan control manipulation ability. Not much for lights or appeal, but works fine. Little expensive when I bought at the height of the GPU shortage for $550, but I was able to sell my 1660 super for $400, so it off set it enough to justify.

Easy to install, and seamlessly integrated into my motherboard / BIOS (connected automatically without any alteration required by me). Seems to perform quite well, although I haven't really stress tested the device. Overall, I am quite happy with this GPU, and the form factor was just what I needed to fit within my limited case dimensions.

Alas I got tired of waiting for this card to get cheaper. I figured if i waited until the holidays I would have even less luck of getting my hands on one. price-gouging omitted, the card runs quite well and I get great temps even with a single fan (important to not i run an open air rig). I do a lot of video editing so I wanted something that rendered videos for faster and smoother playback. For a lower-end budget, I would've preferred the Ti but this still performs incredibly well and I don't think we appreciate the performance gains over the past few years since we've seen such exponential advances. I also mine during my off-work hours so I'm slowly getting my money back anyways (~$10in BTC/wk on htis card)

The GPU apocalypse is upon us and Ethereum miners devouring the cards as soon as they show up on the shelves. I wanted to move up from mt GTX 1660 Ti, which has served me well for two years, but lacks ray tracing and is just a souped up 1060 Ti, when it comes down to it, so it old as crap. I found this in stock at BB and decided to pull the trigger on a whim. It's not a 3060 Ti, but this little card runs cool. I am yet to hit 65 C in my air cooled case, so it is not going to thermal throttle. I also managed a decent overclock of the core and memory clocks, and it is rock stable at around 2000 MHz core clock and 8575 MHz memory clock. It stays at 65 C during the stress tests with fan at 80%. I will flip my old card to recoup the 80% premium over MSRP BB is charging, but the performance is good, and what other options do I have at this time.
