A different part number but worked great!

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I neede to upgrad my laptop's memory and the manufacturer recommended a part number, but it was in backorder from them, so I copied the number,went to the Best Buy site and pasted it in. It immediately came up with a part nummber but it wasn't the same, so I went to Best Buy's Geek Squad and askeed them if it would work and they looked it up and confirmed it, so I had them install it and now my computer has a lot more memory. This was easier and quicker than I thought.
